Two films w/Sabertooth and still no CLEAR indication of his mutant abilities..?

Before the bar fight, he hears Wolverine screaming "Victor!" before the other people do.

That was the closest they came, but we as audience members could still hear it, and I doubt the average jo would think that he has super-hearing.

I'd say getting stabbed repeatedly in Origins, kinda shows that he can heal.
...plus being stabbed repeatedly atop Lady Liberty in X1, all the while continuing to pound and toss around an adamantium laced man convinced me of that too

Well in both films, he very obviously has superhuman strength, and in Wolverine he obviously has growing claws and a healing factor similar to Wolverine's.

Superhuman strength, claws, fangs, and a healing factor are about it...
my problem was he didn't seem any stronger than Wolverine. Wolverine throws Sabretooth just as far as Sabes throws him, and at one point they are in an arm lock and Wolvy appears just as strong

I think lifting the huge log off of Logan proved the guy has some jacked up strength. I don't think a regular guy could toss around a log thicker than a telephone pole with ease...

90's trading cards always rated them with almost equal stats. Sabretooth isn't like Juggernaut, I never thought of him being much stronger than Wolverine, just bigger in size.

I prefer Sabretooth being way stronger then Wolverine. Wolverine has the Adamantium , so Sabretooth needs something to make him equal. The fights between Wolverine and Sabretooth in this film are proof enough that Creed needs some strength advantage or else he is just a putz compared to Logan. That's one thing I loved about Mane's Sabretooth: him taking a tree and smacking Wolverine with it. :woot:

What is all this stabbing talk? There was not one drop of blood on his claws ever.. no blood = no stabbing. ;)

Now.. Wolverine Video game.. there is stabbing..

Anyways Victor's powers might not have been extremely apparent to people, I Will ask my GF tonight and get her opinion if she understood his powers, though I am pretty sure she asked me about Victor after the movie but I think she got the hint that he could heal from all the damage he took during the movie.

I think most got what his powers were; all i ask for is a face healing shot like we got for Wolverine, Deathstrike...it's just cool looking.

all the bios i've read of him say he's got super strength. they always mention him crushing a barbell with ease

Or what about him hearing Stryker underwater? I'm not sure that the the average person would have heard that. Well, I know I wouldn't have.

That's Wolverine, I was talking about Sabretooth. They have shown Wolverine's hearing ability a bit in the films (X2 when he hears the soldiers before anyone else does), but they don't emphasize it as much as I'd like. I was glad they showed it a bit in this movie though.

And Sam said he always tries to find a way to bring Robertson back to play Ben.

My friend who has never seen any other movie and didn't even know who Cyclops was was able to figure it out. So I don't think it could be too difficult.

Aaahhh. I see. Well, it was enough for me when he heard Wolverine before anyone else did.
Happy birthday, by the way. :)
