Ulitmate spder-girl, who's it gonna be

I know a lot of people have said that they believe MJ will be USG but personally I think this is two easy. Bendis is never gonna make it so obvious as to have MJ abducted in one issue and appear as spider-girl in the next issue. Judging from the sillouette I've gotta say it looks like kitty to me. Who do people think this is gonna turn out to be.

p.s. If it turns out to be a gwen clone in a wig I will hunt bendis down and **** him up! He killed her off in a really lame way so if he's ever gonna bring her back it would have to be REALLY good. Otherwise I'd drop this title on principal

Dude, do you even READ Bendis? His plots aren't usually that deep. Just like it was easy fer me to figger out who Ultimate Scorpion was, it's no doubt gonna be a lame reveal who Spider-Woman is.

yes i've read bendis, but...did you see ultimate morbius being a good guy coming? I figured he'd started to improve. Also while bendis has been very predictable on ultimate spider-man he can do complex plot threads as well.

in fairness, wolvie, figuring out the first villain in the clone saga was a clone wasnt too difficult. hopefully he'll mess with our heads a bit now. i know he can come up with some great origins for characters through some of his other work and i have confidence that there'll be a few surprises. (despite the fact i kinda half expect that theyll all just be clones :s i've given this some thought recently!)

Yeah. When it comes to a Bendis mystery your best bet is to always go with the obvious choice.

Though I don't think it's MJ, that would be the stupidest thing in the world, and the damn series would truly have jumped the shark, and I'd probably drop it if he made MJ Ultimate Spider-Woman.

Another thing that's been thrown around in the USM thread in the Spidey forums is that it's a clone of Aunt May, considering May was doing the wild thing...apparently...with Miles Warren. Though that could mean nothing. Or it could be a female clone of Peter Parker, if that's even possible?

We'll find out in two weeks.

Maybe. That is if Bendy doesn't drag it out for 3 issues, which is another one of his favorite things to do.

97's out this week, most people think it's gonna be MJ since she was always going on about how she was so close to being bitten by the spider that gave pete his powers.

Also the powers thing isn't really an issue since she's gonna have spider powers. My guess is that either it'll be female pete clone or whoever's responsible mixes pete's dna with someone elses

but yah i mean m.j has been out of the picture for a while but honestly can u really picture her comin bak as spider-woman? this isnt 616 mj after all...she fell off a bridge and was so upset and affected by it that she dumped peter and stuff like that plus shes like very fragile towards violence the only point for m.j bein spider-woman would be that peter always says we cant be together cuz i don want u to get hurt and then he said he was wit kitty cuz she cant get hurt so im thinkin maybe she found a way to get powers or something.

MJ was in 96-98 at least, I didn't read the whole deadpool arc, didn't like it and had some other books I wanted to try so I dropped it during that little saga but came back for morbius and I'm glad I did. A lot of people didn't like that story but i thought it was great!

She wouldn't be to worried if she had super powers.

One thing that leads me to believe it's MJ (other than Bendis' lack of surprises) is the little bit of forshadowing in ish 97. I may be reading too much into this, but when scorpian first busts in on the mall MJ makes the comment "if I had super powers blah blah blah." It just seemed too convenient that she would say that 1 issue before this new spider girl pops up. Again though I may be looking too much into this.
