I think Ultimate Spider-Man would work well as a live action Television series. The VFX might suffer on a TV budget, but if Marvel and Sony television were behind it, the technology is already there...
But then it is just the problem of trying to get them to go more the way of the original (Bendis) story arcs and not turn it into 90210 with web swinging! *shudders* as Smallville started a bit too much like Dawson's Creek with super powers meets the X-Files...
