Lets get this out of the way first, I love Batman just how he is, but if DC were to create an Ultimate style line, how would you like them to change the character, costume, villains etc?

DC tried something like "Ultimate." What was it called...?

All star is just out of continuity stories, they haven't done any major changes

I always thought the Wizard Ultimate was cool looking, I didnt like that Gordon looked like Morgan Freeman, but the suit was interesting.

i think they should give a new version of year one, with a Bruce Wayne that's like 18 and a more futuristic Bat- suit

So Batman killing cops, forcing Robin to eat bugs, being insane, and Alfred being a bad ass, and the JLA being totally dysfunctional with Wonder Woman and Superman boning, and Wonder Woman being a human hating extremist, and...well, a whole lot of other stuff, arent major changes?

I'd get rid of the on the outside Bat-undies, make the belt gray or black, get rid of all the sidekicks, (Robin, Batgirl, Huntress, all of em) and....that's all I can think of right now.

Bruce Wayne would be the son of Clayface and the enslaved Man-Bat who starts a rebellion against the Sons of Clayface, an organisation who controls the McDonalds empire in South America. Robin would be a mutated frog and the Joker would be a reanimated cow. Gordon would be a callboy and his mother would construct bioweapons against the Josef Stalin/Hitler-Hybrids who are going to take over the world. The Queen of England would have a superhero identity and Prince Charles would be her sidekick, the unhearable Ear-Man.

Ultimate Batman? Heh. Take it back to where it began and work from there.

DC should hand pick certain stories and re-release them in one contintuity series of (affordable) paperbacks.

That's smart.

Or maybe they can just release a quality product on a monthly basis with top-notch art and interesting stories about Batman fighting dangerous criminals.

Just a thought.
