Uncanny X-Force

That was a pretty great interview and got me excited about the book.

seeing the new x-force im kinda weary of seeing wolverine in x-force. mostly because the x-force i was use to was not the x-men. also i think the movies ruined wolverine for me. i kinda cringe when i see him now. still looking forward to reading the new x-force though.

I wasn't planning on getting this, but that interview has changed my mind. Any writer that can make me even slightly interested in reading about Deadpool deserves a chance.

I like the cut of Remender's jib. Could be the first time Deadpool is written as something more than a moronic clown for the first time in ages.

I also like that this X-Force is put together by Wolverine without Scott's knowledge. That's how it should of been in the first place. The Cyclops i know would never put together a team of cold blooded killers for the sole purpose of killing, no matter how extreme the mutant situation got.

I'm waiting for the inevitable confrontation between the Avengers and X-Force after Earth's Mightiest find out about them and the s**t hits the fan. I have the feeling they are building up to some kind of war between the Avengers and X-Men. The most important thing is that Wolverine will be kicked out of the Avengers for good......:yay:

I hope they bring in the fact that Polaris was among the last generation of Horsemen. I'm all for continuity and I think Remender has it in him to bring it out.

I think thats the primary reason why she's in this. Seriously its her only link to this series as she doesnt have many strong connections with the members. Considering they are going after Apocalypse, its only natural that, that part of her history be referenced. Just my guess but I think she and Havok will first appear in the title as villians, well at least her. When Apocalypse turns someone into a Horseman, that has longlasting effects and she can easily be turned back. I think Wolverine is one of the few that hasnt had a reversion, possibly due to his healing factor. Warren, Gambit, and Caliban have had side effects years after they were turned. I wouldnt be surprised if Lorna did as well and Apocalypse gets her under his control again

Seriously, they don't make middle names like they used to. I mean, The 1 has an awesome middle name... Corpulent! Where are THOSE middle names?!

I agree. Honestly, despite how crappy that story ultimately ended up being, as well as the last major Apocalypse storyline (The Twelve), Apocalypse tends to get some interesting Horsemen. I mean, just the two most recent incarnations I loved Sunfire, Polaris, and Gambit (Gazer sucked) and the last batch was very interesting with Wolverine, Ahab, Caliban, and Deathbird. I wish they had done more with Ahab, or had him show up again since then. He was the most interesting in the bunch for me.

I should change my name to JewishF'ingHobbit,

but then the images that brings to my mind aren't very pleasent :(

That's great news. I was raised on the [BLACKOUT]Australian X-Men[/BLACKOUT] so they are kinda near and dear to my heart. I'm confident Remender will make a good use of them.

The only thing Brevoort confirmed is that we have to wait and see.

This book is looking promising. Remender actually sees Deadpool can have some depth, unlike most of the writers writing him currently.

I hope so bc I hate Deadpool as written by everyone else. Actually the only time I found him slightly less annoying was when Yost/Kyle wrote that AR version of him in Messiah War

Someone needs to procure some incriminating pictures of Joe Kelly if you want Deadpool to be readable again. ;)

Despite Cable being my 2nd favorite character in all of comics, Deadpool was the reason I could not read that book
