Because this title has a script in development, I was just wondering if anyone knew anything else about it? I'm a big fan of the games, and would actually be interested in the film version, one of the only video games that could make the transition...this is because the characters in the franchise are a lot more fleshed out than the one dimensional video game characters we're used to.

For Nathan Drake, I would go with Sam Worthington. The whole time watching Avatar, I was convinced. He has the personality, and his voice in most scenes was pretty close to that of Nolan North's Drake, not to mention he kind of has the look, too.

So, any other suggestions or information of this movie?

Sam Worthington has the personality of a brick wall

you need a Chris Evans/Ryan Reynolds type of actor

I thought Worthington's personality was best exhibited during the Motion Capture scenes...and in the film that is how he was supposed to be.

He was supposed to be a shell of himself as a human, but when he was an Avatar he was very likable. His personality and persona when he was an Avatar was VERY Nathan Drake like, an everyman thrown into an extraordinary situation.

1) We already have a thread on this.

2) Sam Worthington is a TERRIBLE choice for Drake. I like Worthington but he's entirely wrong.
