Does anybody think Uncle Ben's killer will return and become a super villian in a future movie even a member of the Sinister Six they must have kept him still not captured
for a reason

I kinda hope not...

but, it would depend how it was handled, if it did fit the bigger picture storyline wise, and brings something to the plot (an isn't just a cliche plot twist) I guess

I really hope they retcon it and it was The Lizard. That would make so much sense. (no it wouldn't)

[BLACKOUT]I think Aunt May in ASM2 infers why this idea won't be pursued further, its about putting the baggage somewhere more manageable so as not to become consumed by it.[/BLACKOUT] Furthermore, Peter's vendetta in the first film was cited by Captain Stacy as the factor that undermined any potentially heroic aspect of Spider-Man's actions. I thought the concept of Peter's revenge was handled poorly in the first trilogy with the death of the first robber in SM1 then emo-Toby attempting to kill retconned-murderer-Sandman in SM3. Unless its well thought out, I wouldn't want the new franchise exploring this angle too much.

I hope not. It didn't work with Sandman and it wouldn't work with whoever the Star-Tattooed Man is.

Just have Peter catch him and be done with it. Speaking of, does he ever come up in "ASM2?" I haven't seen it yet.

See, I agree. But I think that making Black Cat's father the Burglar in SSM was ****ing genius. I was in awe the entire time.

So, that being said, I'm open to it.

I could maybe see him finding out that it was per-arranged for Ben to be killed.. with the Burglar still just being some random street thug
(but, then it becomes a question of do you blame the man who pulled the trigger or the man who hired him)

I'm only on board with this if he becomes Shocker. Any other supervillain... No.

Agreed! I think it would benefit both Black Cat and Ben's killer's stories.

Not saying it's the best way to go but what if the killer turned out to be Mary Jane's father?

I've been playing the game of AMS2 recently and I quite liked how it was being handled there.
In that, Uncle Ben's killer is murdered by Cletus Kassidy, after which Spider-Man enlists the help of Kraven to track him down.
