Upcoming comic book movies that you're not looking forward to

more in movie format by a bit. I'm weird like that.


You don't have to be a blind fan of anything to check out any of the movies. I've never read an X-Men comic in my life. But I'm still going to check out the new X-Men movie. I didn't care much for X-Men 3 or Wolverine either.

Well you make it sound like it just because these movies are X-Men,
Spiderman,and Batman related. It will have to take more than just their names to get me wanting to see them.


I'm not talking about Selina. I'm talking about Max Schreck. You know, the bad guy that Batman foolishly unmasked in front of.

I'm not looking forward to, but will likely not boycott (takes too much effort to do so, but there's no guarantee that I will see them or not) the following: Batman 3, the Spider-Man reboot, and any C-D list characters who happen to have a movie coming out for some reason.

Batman Forever had no such situation. He was giving up so he could be with Chase Meridian. Did Two Face, Riddler, and the rest of Gotham's scum suddenly retire?

In TDK, people were being murdered because of him. Gotham City hated him for that, and wanted him to turn himself in. You think giving up to stop having more blood on your hands is less noble than giving up so he can be with a woman?

Well let us see,Nolan's Batman is too problematic for me. And 2,I know that Tf:ROTF has it shares of problems but feel that it has more good than bad. I'm not too easily offended like it's detractors,oh and one last thing,I NEVER EVER GO WATCH MOVIES JUST SO I CAN FEEL SMARTER THAN I AM. Kapeesh?

Captain America. Everything I've heard about it has been bad so far. From the main actor to the inclusion of Bucky.

Bucky seen as a bad thing? Don't read Marvel much do you? He's actually a good character who becomes the current Captain America.

The Green Hornet - with fatty Seth Rogen who can take him seriously as s superhero.

Thor - not a big fan of the norse mythology and don't see this one appealing to the broader moviegoer.

Nope. He was trying to prevent Dick from going out seeking revenge. He didnt want him to become like him and realized that Dick was going to do it regardless and decided to take him as a partner.

I've never been a fan of spin-offs, nor do I think every single comic book character (Ant-Man, for instance) needs a movie to themselves, so movies like Ant-Man, Lobo, and Venom i'd take a pass on, Venom I'd see only out of obligation, not anticipation. Fortunately, from what I can tell these flicks won't be happening.

Sounds like another Mask or The Spirit and I didn't like the former and hated the latter.

Spider-Man Reboot:

It sounds like some silly tween movie and there is no reasons to reboot, just make another Spider-Man movie with a different cast and director. Prove me wrong Sony, prove me wrong.

I'm mildly interested in Captain America although I can see it sucking hard and Thor is going to have to have some pretty damn decent previews because right now I'm only interested in looking at that hot guy they cast as Thor.

I don't hate Nolan's Batman movies as movies,I just don't like them too much as Batman movies. They aren't good enough but flawed as well imo,to me, they are so so yet but flawed. If you catch my drift. Are you trying to tell me that there is no room for improvement in Nolan's Batman movies?

I'm saying they aren't terrible as films in general . In terms of representing the character that's open for debate.Nolan recently stated in Empire magazine he plans to close his universe and not expand it. So it seems he is on a different page ...

Green Hornet and all future Fox related X Men films I have absolute 0 interest in. Will not be seeing either

The Spiderman reboot and Green Lantern are 50/50 (meaning I'm waiting for trailers to hit before making any final judgement calls. The ideas Sony has for the reboot all sound horrible, and I'm skeptic on Reynolds as Hal).

Yeah there's no talking your way out of this S.A.A.D. There are so many things that are wrong about your original post of this thread and your signature.

I don't go to theater to have be insulted either. It wasn't that Transformers 2 was dumb fun (it wasn't dumb fun). It was an insult to people. That's all I'm going to say now. I absolutely hate TF:2 and can't possibly see how people could like it. There probably wasn't anything good outside of Optimus Prime and even he wasn't in the movie that much.

Its stupid that you would boycott these films for no reason yet can't wait for TF3.




Anyway, I'm not looking forward to X-men: First Class. If its a reboot, I'd be slightly more interested, but I still wouldn't see it in theaters unless reviews are good.

Jonah Hex - obviously

Xereces - I thought 300 was okay, but Frank Miller is losing it and we know how Snyder like going panel for panel in films.

Green Hornet - From what I'm hearing production is a disasater and 3D is completely useless for this movie. The only reason they're using 3D for the movie is because studio wants hide how crappy the movie is and wants more money from it.


I'll hold judgement on the Spiderman reboot.
