Update on Millar's next Marvel projects

Looking forward to whatever he has planned, glad he's reteaming with Hitch again.

When it does happen, which it most likely will,I expect a sh1tload of people to be reading. Why?Millar has become one of those names that fans will eat up even if it's a Howard the Duck VS Frog-Man mini series.

Sounds cool, but I have the following hopes:
The project with a big Marvel character, better not be Thor. If he comes back to DC, don't let him anywhere near Superman. Both of his ideas (Thor and Iowan teenagers, Superman as a cold uncaring alien with God complex) were horrid.

Man,I've heard people talking about his Superman plans, but I can't find them anywhere online?Do you got a link?If you're referring to Red Son,I thought it was amazing. How he changed Supes environment and put him in an uncomfortable position was storytelling genius. Can't argue with the Green Lanterns battle prep scene as well.

Don't mess with Iowa:cmad:

I Loved Red Son but if that is how he would write superman in a regular title I think I would be very very very very mad.

I think the third project with the rumored creative change will be Astonishing X-Men. That should be ending in Summer '07.

You people all still have zero imaginations and crap comic collections if this is the best you all can suggest.

LMAO:up:

I suck at obtaining animal porn films legally. There's positives and negatives twixt our two homes:csad:

My bet is Millar will take over Astonishing.

It could be good, if he doesn't write it in his UXM style, where everyone says something dramatic and then punctuates their sentence with the name of ther person they're talking to, Darthphere.

Seriously though if he were to take over AXM it would most likely pale in comparison to Whedon's run.:o

Nope.Mark said he thinks it should end when Joss leaves and that there's way too many x-books out.

On the current version of the character: "[Kingdom Come] is close to perfect. Waid gets it. None of the other American writers do, though Loeb comes close. His only weakness is getting caught up in the whole farmboy thing. The farm is where he grew up and knew he was NOTHING LIKE THESE PEOPLE. He affects it for the Clark persona, but that's it. He's as Kryptonian as Jesus is divine. Did Jesus shag Mary Mag? I don't think so. Superman should never shag Lois. It's insane and what happens when artists start touching tyoewriters. Jimmy is the reader-identification figure and the comedy relief. PS I'm saving everything else for the launch. No other ideas from me here, I'm afraid, in case some **** nicks em."
