V for Vendetta Sequel

LOVED the movie, but I don't want a sequel. Two reasons as to why:

1. The message of the story would be really dilluded and ruined with a sequel.

2. If Moore found out, he'd probably invade WB and destroy them all with AK-47's and his beard.

no, I understood it just fine.... but this movie isn't some great piece of cinema you guys make it out to be

go check out Children of Men, if you want to see a great movie, about a facist country, and terrorism......
I love Children of Men, love Fight Club (it's my favorite movie of all time), Pan's Labyrinth is beautiful, and while like V they all have facist and some common themes, there is very little to compare between these movies and V other then the fact that they were all very good movies, great movies.

There is no need to compare, no need for a sequal or prequal to any of these movies.

Shame you didnt like V.

Loved V but no sequel please. It would be too gimicky and might be the next Matrix reloaded

*gags at the idea of a sequel*

V is one of a kind. The whole, you know, super strenght and reflexes thingy.

Guy had a good death. No need to add anything to it.

I remember several months ago someone found a story telling about the greenlit V for Vendetta sequel. Then we checked the date the article was printed... April 1st.

Also, what would possibly be the point of knowing who V was? Unless it was some stupid cliched crap like her father or something, it would've meant nothing. So what if we knew his real name, or saw his face, it would mean nothing. It wouldn't be some huge revelation. We knew all we needed to know.

you know, even if she took off the mask and he was someone she knew from before Lark Hill, there's no way she would have recognized his burned up, disfigured face :o

i think only two people didnt like hte movie that i know ... and both didnt get hte movie. so i really hope that the ones here who dont like this movie understand it.

Well, to be honest, if one isn't entertained/captivated by V's charisma and ruthlessness (poisoning the doctor lady? One word: RAD), there isn't much going on for the flick that makes it any different than other near-future-dictatorship flicks...

And if someone expected a non-stop action extravaganza, well... :csad:
