Please forgive me if this has been posted already. If so, please feel free to combine with the existing thread.

From Variety:

Hugh Jackman and Seed Productions partner John Palermo are ramping up several projects for the "Wolverine" star.

Fox and Seed are in development on a sequel to "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," which topped the domestic box office over the weekend.

The Seed partners have begun planning the sequel, which they are squarely focusing on the samurai storyline originated in the comic series, and whose Japanese locale was teased after the film's final credits. A writer has yet to be hired. Seed will produce.

Are you kidding me? I'm no plant. I lurk and only post when I feel like it...

I don't see any need to accuse someone of being a studio plant just because they are posting a published article from Variety.

5 years. Only a hundred and something posts and a new Wolverine movie is important enough for one of your rare posts? I don't know what or who you are but that does seem kinda weird

Yay!

I hope Silver Samurai gets laser eyes

Great. :csad:

I wonder how more cuddly and friendly they are going to make Wolverine in this film.

Dude, you've got issues. I thought I was being helpful.

No wonder I stopped posting here to begin with...people like you.

Enough. Stop making silly accusations.

I didn't mean to, I'm sorry. I've just always wondered about that and I asked about it. I'm sorry, I won't post about that anymore

If anything, lots of people are more likely to pop up or re-pop up around when these movies are released to discuss them

Yep, I knew it was going to happen.

I wonder if this one will reach the 20s on Rottentomatoes...maybe the 10s...

how many plot twists you think? maybe only 20 this time....but i'm sure there will be a dozen more unneeded mutants to be introduced and then discarded

lol...

Ok i must admit that the little wolverine screaming into the sky was almost as bad as Darth Vader, but wolverine has already grown up so we don't have to be afraid of that anymore for the sequal. I'm looking forward to it!

I love the face of the emperor in that picture!!! "It seems in your anger you have killed her."

Another butchery of the Ninja mythos is on the way... I think I am just going to stick with this new Ninja Assassins movie coming out.

I actually hope they make him more violent because he lost his memory, make him more animal like...but that's high hopes for a fox pg-13 film.

^he'd have to kill that entire kindergarten to make up for the *****-do-gooder he's been in the past films
