I can't at this being marketed as the last Venom movie, yet it will tease a villain that would later appear in someone else's movie? What if this movie got brutal reviews like Joker 2 and previous SSU movies. I dislike how this is supposed to tie in to the next Spider-Man movie. I feel like Sony would just add up to Marvel Studios' long list of problems to be fixed.

It doesn't matter what the reviews are going to be like. The previous 2 movies got poor reviews from critics but for the most part the general public enjoy these movies.

Yeah, I am not a huge fan of the new direction Spider-Man 4 is taking. But that said, I am mildly interested to see Venom and Tom Holland as a buddy cop duo. That's at least going to be fun, even if the rest of the movie sucks

I wouldnt be so sure... It definitely wont make as much as the first one. But i think it has a good chance of beating Venom 2.

Yeah, its got a nice open corridor to make money. A good solid 3 weekends. Red One is the next blockbuster, which.....

I see Venom making it to Thanksgiving weekend.

I also think it's going to make less money than both previous films, but, again, it cost 110 million so it needs less than 300 to break even and it's kind of unlikely at the moment that it won't even make that.

Oh i forgot about that, the first one made 260M on China, but because of the pandemic Venom 2 wasnt released there.
So yeah, im even more positive now this one will beat Let there be Carnage.

I wouldn't be surprised if the third movie doesn't cross the 500 million mark worldwide. Sony has failed to build goodwill for their SSU, and this grossing lower than the previous Venom movies would be another example.

And this would be another rotten rated entry in Sony's Marvel library... and in two months, its Kraven's turn.
