What do people think about Vicki Vale?

Personally I wish we had more of her in the modern comic continuity, sure some would say she's a ripoff of Lois Lane, but I feel there's more a need for her in Gotham than Lois in Metropolis.

Batman starts out as a myth, a legend and a denial. This undoubtably would lead to press seeking out the truth, which is where I feel B89 excelled. In a way I hope Nolan's movies keep Batman in this aspect, I don't like him being public knowledge like he is in B&R. I do hope Vicki can appear in a Nolan movie at some point. Who would you want to play her in a sequel?

Can anyone name any graphic novels/collections of continuity which feature here? I'd like to see more of her... I know she is mentioned at the start of Year One, dates Bruce in The Ring, The Arrow and the Bat and is rescued by Batman in Robin: A Hero Reborn, but is that it?

Is she a liked character? Does she have potential to be re-introduced?

I finished watching The Batman vs Dracula movie, I was going make a thread about Vicki Vale. I would love see her in the current live-action series - Isla Fisher as Vicki Vale maybe?

Summer Gleeson should have been Vicki Vale. I don't know why Batman/Bruce never had a decent love story in the entire run. Closest he got was Andrea

Gossip diva Vicki Vale got her legendary, notoriously firm, shapely fanny tossed into the hoosegow yet again after trying to lift an estimated $11,320.00 worth of merchandise from the Sprang. The cutie klepto pled guilty. After paying for the loot and promising on a big heap load of bibles to seek counseling, she got off with a wink and a nod to the judge.

Yeah. I haven't read any of the All Star comics myself, but she appears to be a main character in it.

I think people disliked how Vicki became a little bit ****tish. As long as it's not canon with the modern continuity I don't care, it's just Miller's interpretation.

I reckon DC should make a graphic novel set during Batman's early days revolving around Vicki and the Gotham Gazette/Globe/Whatever. Kinda like Gotham Central, but with reporters keen to investigate the new Batman rumours. She's not in enough continuity these days.
