Vicki Vale = too close in proximity to '89.

True you could argue back with Selina Kyle, but I think Catwoman is a far more significant female character than Vale and is thusly entitled to transcend and be in any incarnation of Batman.

But not Vicki. As far as I'm concerned, despite Jane Adams' portrayal in the 1949 movie serial, that role belongs with Kim Basinger and back in 1989 and it should pretty much stay that way.

Why have either of those when we can have Talia?

She hasn't been in any of the movies before, she's a more believable character, and her father has already been in the first one and "Killed" maybe she's goin to go and seek her revenge upon the b-man.

If they'd have Vicky Vale, Amy Adams would be the best choice. Then again, I probably wouldnt want Amy to take that role.

I think tehy should do Talia and Catwoman the bad relationships that fall apart not really being Bruce's fault just circumstances but leaving him distant and scared of commitment cos of his recent relationships Rachael=blown up and loved another man, Talia=getting close to him to kill him and Catwoman=a burgular. Vicki Vale could be the on and off girlfriend.

Oh God, I hated that part. That was NOT a great opening. Althought the rest was good.

I agree that they should bring in Selina or Talia instead, but IF they would've chosen Vale, Amy Adams or Scarlett Johansson would probably been my choices as well.
