Which villain would you start a new Spiderman movie francise with? Vote

Doc Ock, but just for starters, Green Goblin is Spider-man arch foe and should be in #2. Brock should be in the whole series, then become Venom in #3.

Doc Ock.

Start with the best to hook audiences in :otto:

Definitely Doc Ock! And to differentiate him from the Doc Ock featured in Spider-Man 2, his tentacles could look a little more "refined" and a little more streamlined. I particularly like this abandoned design considered for Spider-Man 2.

I would probably say either Ock or the Lizard for the first film. Goblin for no. 2 and then Venom for part 3. I'd like to see the whole Osborn story fleshed out a bit more over the first two films, and of course,Venom and Brock need alot more build up than what Spider-man 3 delivered. Brock should appear in the first movie. Oh,and have Peter's first love be Gwen Stacy. MJ would appear, but her role would get bigger as the movies continue.

Vulture and Electro for the first film.

Green Goblin and Doc Ock for the second.

Spider-Man 1

Ock first. Tie Otto and Peter's creation to the same science experiment. Meanwhile, we meet Harry and Norman Osborn and Gwen Stacy. Norman's abuse of Harry and obsession with power is shown. Peter is the high school nerd who get shot down by Liz Allen and has a more antogonistic relationship with Flash. Otto wants to punsih New York and his fellow scientists for mocking him/ending his funding by covering the city with radiation from the nearby nuclear plant. He would be a nervous yet arrogant scientist in this movie. Captain Stacy would die during a Spidey/Ock battle.

Spider-Man 2
Norman becomes the Goblin and sets out to destroy any competition to OsCorp. Peter is in college. After Spidey stops one of his rampages, the Goblin sees him as a target and a threat. He discovers his identity and slowly twists the knife by ruining Peters life, culminating with Gwen's murder. Mary Jane is introduced as the fun, flighty next door neighbor that Aunt May wants Peter to meet. But he is taken with Gwen and cant tell her who he is.

Spider-Man 3
Harry gets deeper into his alcoholism. Only knowing that Spider-Man was involved in Norman's death, he hires Kraven the Hunter to avenge him. Sergei is defeated and swears revenge, Harry discovers Peter's ID. Mary Jane and Peter slowly get closer, as Peter learns that her party girl exterior is a mask as well.

Spider-Man 4
Harry becomes the Hobgoblin and sets out to win his father's approval by taking over the mobs and killing Spider-Man. Peter and Mary Jane get married and Harry hates their happiness. He plans to expose Peter's identity and let his name be disgraced (as he was involved with Capt Stacy and Gwen's deaths) just as Norman's name was disgraced by being linked to the Green Goblin.

Spider-Man 5
Kraven returns and hunts the Lizard, in a Kraven's Last Hunt type of story.

You just come up with this now or have you been sitting on this for awhile? :oldrazz:
Seriously, this would be an awesome way to do it in about 20 years.

I totally came up with that on the spot.

Oh and each movie after the first would have a minor action scene involving Vulture, Electro, Sandman or Mysterio. They would steal some high tech equipment and we wouldnt know until part 6 that they have been bringing pieces together for their leader...the very much alive Doctor Octopus.

The revealed Sinister Six story would take place over two movies: part 6 and 7. The first part would feature Spidey taking on Electro, Sandman and Kraven. The powerhouse's of the Six. Part 2 would have him going up against the brains of the Sinister Six: Vulture, Mysterio and Ock.

This would give the Sinister Six an epic feel and a movie wouldnt be bogged down with 6 villains.

I also later thought it might be interesting if in the first movie Flash Thompson decides to mess with a batch of web fluid. Peter is making it in their chemistry class and the webbing fails to work properly during a fight with Ock, resulting in Capt Stacy's death.

I really wished they would have used an opening fight montage in the films to expose some of the lesser-known villains. Like have the typical spinning paper shot with something like "Spider-Man takes down The Cushion" and cut to Spidey fighting Shocker.

Could have been cool.

I’d love an Ultimate Spider-Man movie with Doc Ock as the first villain.
But as things are now, they probably would do better rebooting with some lesser significant villains like Shocker or Electro as a henchman for none other than the Kingpin. Or something small like the Lizard for a more (dare I say it) ‘totemistic’ theme. Much like they did with Batman Begins or Ironman.
If they start with Green Goblin and Doc Ock again, it would seem redundant. The old movies will still be out there, so the reboot series need to show something completely different, to be its own thing.
But if the Spidey films had never happened before, I’d say that to begin with the Green Goblin is more than appropriate.

Thats really good. The one thing I'd change is the hobgoblin. I wouldn't want Harry becoming Hobgoblin. I'd rather he'd be GG2, but thats the only thing that didn't sit well with me. The rest is really great!

Hey, Demogoblin! Those are some nice ideas that you have! Really great! Especially with the lead-up/foreshadowing of the Sinister Six.

On second thought, I would combine SM 5 into part 3. Two Kraven films is a lot.

Spider-Man 5 would have Sandman, Electro and Hobgoblin (Jason Macendale) stealing the last of the equipment that Ock needs for his plan. Its the merchandise with the highest security, so thats why the "muscle" villains would be getting their time in the spotlight (maybe with Macendale, being ex-CIA, supplying the inside info for the Six. At the end of Spider-Man 4, Harry's body would be stolen from the final fight scene, leaving us to believe he is still alive. In this film, we find that the Six were merely after the Hobgoblin equipment to give Macendale the edge in the heist, leaving Hobby wearing the costume that Harry died in.) Electro would keep the guards busy and shut down all communications with other military bases while Hobgoblin II would lead Sandman to the equipment.

I'm not sure how Peter's life would be by this point. Maybe Aunt May would be dying. He has two major crisis: May dying and a major operation going down with the Six. In the end, Sandman and Electro escape due to an odd hallucination courtesy of Mysterio. Hobgoblin spills his guts to Spidey about what is going on. Spidey later tracks down Marko and Dillon.

Spider-Man 6
The coup de grace. Spider-Man vs the Sinister Si...er, Three. The brains of the Sinister Six put the plan into the end game. Mysterio tries to keep Spider-Man at bay with a disguised hideout and illusions around NYC. Vulture and Ock assemble the device. Spidey figures out that Mysterio could only be casting these illusions from a certain place (considering his "broadcast" range all over NY and the amount of energy needed to cast the illusions.) He arrives at the hidden base but Ock has already betrayed Mysterio and Vulture. While not exactly turning "good" after Ock betrays them, Beck and Toomes are more willing to see him fall after his betrayal. The three take down Doc Ock.
