I would love to see The Riddler, and may the return of Harvey Dent.

Can we not have Talia in the next film or in any Nolan film. Just go with the Riddler route and leave it at that.

After watching "500 Days of Summer" I truely believe Joseph and Zooe should play Joker and Harley.

I think Joseph Gordon-Levitt should play Joker and Anna Paquin should play Harley.

I would love to see Penguin, as we saw him in the 4th season of BTAS. A fence and a mid level mob boss. I would also like to see him hire some "freaks" to take down the bat. That way we could get Deadshot, Killer Croc and Bane.
Croc would look great if he appeared like he did in "Joker"

If even Penguin is chosen I don't think he'll be the main villain.

I think a duo of Anarky and Poison Ivy would be interesting. They've already had the fake Batmen running around and Poison Ivy could be an eco terrorist who is adept with plant based chemicals and poisons

clock king. perfect for an expert who is good at synchronizing events and working around automated computer programs. he would have the criminal knowledge to cause bombs to go off at designated times, and know human/computer scheduled events coming up with the perfect timeline to break into places or hack into computer systems. he will most likely will be a freelance criminal hired by the penguin or in his crime family.

I think Clock King would be a great addition as a side character, like a gang member who specializes in the explosives.

If a Suicide Squad movie is really happening I'd rather they save Clock King for that with a similar role on JLU. Where he was coordinating the events and was incredibly obsessed about punctuality. He seems like he would have the right amount of OCD (sorta) that would clash with the other members outlaw-like demeanors

Catwoman
The Riddler
The Penguin
Black Mask
Croc
The Ventriloquist and Scarface
Clayface
Mr. Freeze

Returns/Cameos:
Zsasz
Scarecrow

Catwoman
The Penguin
The Riddler

Which also happen to be the three leading names in the poll! Lucky me ;)

I'd rather have Black Mask than Penguin, I think he works better for this story.

Becaaaause... a tougher and more handsome version of the Penguin that likes to walk around wearing a big black skull mask is just Nolan's cup of tea, right?

The 'touch of Nolan' is just what the Penguin needs to be awesome. He's more calculating, cold-headed and devious than BlackMask, and that's what I like. What I don't like is rich boys crying over how 'second-place' they are.

heres hoping for an epic sequel that makes the dark knight look bad

have batman face his entire rogues gallery in one movie yeah that would be awesome jk

I have seen a variety of combinations thrown out there of villains that could be opposing batman for different reasons and those that team up.

I like the idea of the riddler being a government agent sent to bring batman down.

The penguin should be a seller for the right price he sells anything from weapons to information.

One of the few teamups I would get behind would be talia and bane, I like both characters, and I think if they played it up that bane was a former rival of bruces from the league that it could prove interesting. talia is out to avenge her father and using the one member of the league who was bruces equal.

Catwoman, I just cant get behind the idea of using her, I just think that she is overated, a catburglar that wants to go straight, that makes batman think twice about the life he has chosen, I mean I see where alot of people that do want her are coming from the city has turned against him, hes on his own his city will not allow him to operate openly without risking being arrested so that does make for an interesting story arc just dont know how it would look.

Black Mask could be interesting if they played up the freaks taking control of the mob, and he could play that part up, someone who is both mob affiliated but has some serious issues, maybe that could be the reason his company goes under that wayne has to buy him out because his mob ties are exposed.

freeze I think could be interesting in a teamup capacity also but if they put him with black mask when masks company goes under, freeze is left unemployed and he was a scientist working for janus cosmetics trying to cure his wifes condition.

jokerz. just have the local rift raft popping up in various joker inspired gangs.

Harley Quinn
The Riddler
Poison Ivy
The Ventriloquist/Scarface
Other(Talia Al Ghul...Can I know why she is out of the list? Injustice!)

Any one of these would be good.
I hope the disgusting Penguin and the "repeated figure" Catwoman won´t be in B3...please!!! ;(

Depending on how many sequels ultimately get made,I'd like to one day see an "anti-Batman" be it the Wraith,Prometheus,Deadshot,Owlman,Bane or whoever they decide to use and however they decide to use him. I mean when you really think about it,a good portion of Batman's enemies each respresent a sort of "What if?" notion of where Bruce Wayne's life could have been like if not for his being Batman, the people who keep him grounded and the choices he makes but I would love to see a more strait forward yin to Bruce's yang villian who's financial, physical and mental rescources and drive not only rivals those of Batman's but who's tragic orgin is relatable in some ways as well.

It's not likely that we'll ever get some of Burton's "disgusting Penguin" again, but a more faithful (although improved upon) approach. Same goes for Catwoman. Repeating it's not bad, because it's not repeating at all. Think of what Burton and Schumacher did to those characters. Don't think Repetition. Think Redemption ;)

(I'm just exaggerating to get my point across, I think those versions had something going on for them too.)

To cut right to the chase before any names are named, I want, no, need a nemesis that will play on Batman's current role as an outcast and apparent villain. Not only that, but I need that villain to test Batman as a detective. I want to see Batman thinking and working things out the way he did all the time in the Animated Series. I want to see him in the bad guy's trap (or traps) and cleverly finding a way to escape it using his resourcefulness.

Naturally, the Riddler is the obvious choice to fill that role. I do feel like other characters could offer an interesting detectivey side to things, but Riddler covers all bases, is the most recognizable to people who aren't even die-hard fans (so he'll have craploads of hype, which is always good), and pretty much blows the competition out of the water.

Accompanying Riddler, I want another character to approach Batman's outcast and detective side just as beautifully: Catwoman. I doubt I need to elaborate more.

I'm not familiar with Black Mask (but I will be once I get some spare cash and stop by Barnes & Noble - hopefully they'll have something for me), but he seems pretty damn interesting to me, and a somewhat appropriate challenge for the Bruce Wayne side of the spectrum. Bruce is still a bit immature as far as development goes, so I think he needs something to test that side of his character, to give him an epiphany as to who he wants to be when he's not Batman - rather than just a playboy.

Although I will say that Harvey Dent was certainly a step in the right direction. Nolan is brilliant.

About The Riddler and Catwoman:I think that if the next villain will be The Riddler,Catwoman certainly will be out!
Without Penguin,we hardly have Catwoman in B3!
You can bet if The Riddler will be in B3,Catwoman is out.
And about Batman fighting against criminals by Catwoman side wouldn´t be cool.
Batman definately works better ALONE!
If Nolan put Catwoman in the third movie she certainly will be a villain, not a heroin.

For the villains I see three options:
Riddler-a threat to the Dent cover up
Black Mask- new mob element and a threat to Bruce's normal life as well as Gotham's stability
Catwoman-a foil to the Batman's new villain status

In terms of Batman, I'd see her as a villain who's motives are ambiguous, she'll steal for herself some times and then sometimes she'll steal for the downtrodden, she likes to fight Batman seeing herself as his equal but also fights along side him whenever it takes her fancy. She likes being spontanous and likes the thrill of doing something different.

The Riddler I'd see him as an investigative reporter whom loves to find the truth of a story seeing them as a riddle and thinks there's more to the Dent murder but becomes more and more frustrated when he has the evidence and no one believes him and starts to do some drastic measures to prove that he is right.

^How is Black Mask a threat to Bruce's normal life?
