Riddler and Black Mask.

:)

one thing about Black Mask is I don't like the whole Wayne enterprises tie.. I mean I do like it but I wouldn't want it in the next film.. I like the idea of a mob boss being more one of the "freak" character though....

people were mentioning ideas about flashbacks to batmans childhood with the Sionis family and all but after BB getting over the flashbacks and none in TDK i hope this film isn't filled with non linear bits....... just told straight

Joker did say he owns Gotham now and Harvey presumably killed Maroni along with the chechen & gamble and what not ....does this mean the mob characters will not be in the next film?

We need a strong villain, or at least the main villain, to conclude the trilogy.

Mad Hatter would be okay for a minor villain, but not a main one.

I agree which is why it will be hard to top TDK I think...

Two Face & The Joker both in one and gone Nolan got greedy...

well i guess it was said if Heath were alive Joker would be back but now that he has stated he is not comfortable with recasting... Its going to be tough to fill such great villains voids

Black Mask is perfect because we need a challenge for Bruce Wayne this time around as much as Batman needs a challenge. Roman Sionis v Bruce Wayne / Black Mask v Batman.

And also, I think with all these mobsters dead and gone, we need someone to combine all of the gangs together, and Black Mask is perfect for that aspect as well, as shown in Batman: Under the Red Hood.

Riddler, I could see him being a solo villain and not working with the mob(for once in Nolan's series).

And as for Mad Hatter; if there could be a way for Nolan to introduce more 'freaks', as in Penguin and even Killer Croc, that trifecta of villains would work really well, imo.

well Catwoman is a challenge to both persona's aswell and doesn't need as much of a back story as black mask...... how would they tell Black Masks story without flashbacks

I don't want anymore flashbacks...

he was great in under the red hood

Hey wait lets make black mask.... MR EARLE! ;)

I literally want to see any villain other than The Riddler.

We wouldn't need flashbacks, imo; BM's backstory could be changed a bit as someone who just comes into Gotham City with a rising new corporation that is about to take over Wayne's company. They don't really need to have a story of being childhood friends, as I believe we don't need flashbacks either. Plus, with Sionis just coming to Gotham, it'll be a reason for a new villain, such as Black Mask to be showing up without a real origin as well.

he was great in under the red hood

Agreed; they played out his rage perfectly. Him punching the new guy was hilarious.

Yeah I don't see Waynes company being in too much jeapordy though... i find big corporate company talk a bit boring anyways and kind of hope that is gone with the flashbacks from BB

well we got the villains cast mr earle as black mask and reese as riddler

how about Rachel isnt dead but comes back as catwoman some cats licked her under all that rubble

LOL! Genius. Have you been talking with Tim Burton recently?:awesome:

just about how much we hate Kevin Smith and don't read comics..

hugo strange!!! pleeeaaasseee!! we could get inside the mind of bruce wayne, and enter dream worlds. maybe even convince batman he's actually insane, and made up the whole being batman story to cope with the loss of his parents..and then you know at the end, batman would find a way out or something. i don't know. but i think this would open up to a lot of elements these batman movies were missing, and still get away with the realism.

i mean think shutter island and inception, BUT with batman! that's what i want to see! nolan could get away with characters like bat-mite in the dream world!! not that i want bat-mite, but i mean maybe robin could be in his dream world? who knows man.

but all i'm saying is hugo strange could tap into a lot of crazy things. revisiting bruce's parents, fighting off demons, talking with bat-mite, meeting a batman of zur-en-arrh, it's endless man. i would love it!

all that said, i'm not sure if nolan wants to do something about being pursued by the cops, or if he's gonna just go into a new story that goes a couple years after the events of the dark knight. i would want the latter. i hate seeing batman getting owned in the crossfire between the cops and a supervillain. i want to see batman vs. supervillain without the cops really knowing about it, you know. kind of like a secret war. it would work with hugo, cuz hugo is obsessed with batman right? dude, it would be perfect!!

Well, whatever they do...whoever they use...if there's one person that absolutely, positively has to be there, it's.....

.....Samuel.......L....Jackson.

No movie....and certainly no major movie franchise...is complete, without an appearance by......

.....Samuel.......L....Jackson.

In fact....I don't think Hollywood will even allow you to complete any sort of big movie these days, if it doesn't have.....

.....Samuel.......L....Jackson.

Look at al the big-budget movies that have fallen flat on their faces over the past years. They have one thing in common.....they didn't have....

.....Samuel.......L....Jackson.

So Mr, Nolan & Co....please, for for your own sake ,and for that of moviegoers the world over....find a way....any way....to include......

.....Samuel.......L....Jackson.

the only actor i can think of that has a shot at matching what ledger did with the joker is daniel day lewis.

Recasting Joker lends itself to two paradoxes, especially recasting him with Danny Day.

1. It is a slap in the face to ask a respected actor to imitate another performance.

2. A brilliant actor like DDL would bring his own take on the character. Different voice, mannerisms, completely difference performance. Only thing I imagine would stay would be Nolan's aesthetic. It will fully ruin continuity to have a completely different take on the Joker. The Joker is loud and up front, won't be like recasting a supporting role like Rachel.

The other thing is the age. It won't feel right going from Ledger in his late 20s to Danny Day who is in his mid 50s. Before someone brings up the idea that he would be concealed behind the face paint, you've got to remember that Joker has been caught. He's in Arkham now without his facepaint so it would have to be DDL's real face. Unless we are just told that he escaped and that is just bad storytelling. I would love to see the Joker though, but recasting just puts us in a paradox. Best thing is just a cameo or reference.

you are probably right. i was thinking more in terms of talent rather than practicality i guess

I did not meant for my Riddler idea to sound like Saw inspired!,I myself started hating Saw after the 3rd one(2nd was last I overall enjoyed)and I am annoyed by other movies like that.

It was just a little possible idea I had that I thought would be kinda interesting,But IF it's so"uninspiring"then my bad!,I'll move on and see what other direction they could go.

Deadshot....or -pool...or whichever one he is...

LOL, that is really nice but I'm laughing b/c I thought that was Mr. Freeze. Red goggles, bald head, and I thought that was frost/thaw coming from the gun:awesome::doh:

Not that it'll happen, but Ventriloquist would be cool. Killer Croc would be good 'muscle' for Batman to go up against--he hasn't really had a physical challenge yet in Nolan's movies.
