This Sting vs Undertaker Dream Match stuff got me thinking...

If you could put together a NWA/WCW vs WWF/E ppv from any time period (Monday Night Wars era or Jim Crocket Promotions vs Rock n Wrestling, for example), what would it look like?

I know we got most of the big matches over time with people switching companies so much, but just a thought... Any ideas?

Jim Crockett Promotions vs Rock 'n' Wrestling Era

Hulk Hogan vs Ric Flair

Macho Man Randy Savage vs Sting

Demolition vs The Road Warriors

Ricky Steamboat vs Mr Perfect

Arn, Tully and Sid vs The Hart Foundation and Roddy Piper

Dusty Rhodes vs Rick Rude

Barry Windham vs Jake Roberts

Flyin' Bryan Pillman vs The Big Boss Man

Monday Night Wars Era

Stone Cold vs Sting

The Undertaker vs Goldberg

Shawn Michaels vs Randy Savage

Bret Hart vs Hollywood Hogan

The Outsiders vs The Rock & Sock Connection

DDP vs Triple H

The 4 Horsemen (Flair, Benoit & Malenko) vs DX (Outlaws & X Pac)

Owen Hart vs Scott Steiner

My god, I'm liking how Orton's voice has some life to it again while he's giving promos.

Glad I'm not the only one thinking this, everything about Orton has felt revitalized to me over the last 6 or 7 weeks.

I've never been an Orton fan but I've noticed a change with him recently. Maybe because he knows he's on his last chance with the WWE.

I am probably Sting's biggest fan here on these boards. He is my all time favorite wrestler. While it would be great to see Sting end his career on the biggest stage of them, I have serious doubts it will ever happen. It just feels like we've been done this road too many times before.

That said, it doesn't ever seem to stop the online fans excited about the possibility of him signing. I think everyone would mark out huge!

Someone wrote at another website a great idea for Sting VS. Taker.

If WWE are smart enough, they could book Sting VS. Taker in a Two Out of Three Falls Match. This way Sting could get his Wrestlemania moment by being the only wrestler ever to pin Taker at WM while Taker wins the first and third (and final) fall, keeping his streak intact. This would leave both wrestlers looking strong.

This is actually a terrific idea!

Bravo sir, bravo! :applaud

I will say this takes place in like 1998. Some of my matches would be...

Stone Cold vs Goldberg (the two most over guys in their respective promotion, plus both champs)

Undertaker vs Sting ("Franchise" match)

Owen Hart vs Chris Benoit (would've just been awesome)

DX vs NWO (whichever line-ups they wanted to use for each stable)

WWE will tape tonight's WWE SmackDown episode from the Landon Arena in Topeka, Kansas. Here are the full results.

* CM Punk opens SmackDown and we see how he and Curtis Axel beat The Prime Time Players on RAW. Punk talks about winning the WWE Title Money in the Bank match and brings up Brock Lesnar. Alberto Del Rio comes out and wants Punk off his show. Punk rips into Del Rio and the fans start chanting "USA." Teddy Long comes out and makes Punk vs. Del Rio for tonight's main event.

* Backstage segment with Punk and Paul Heyman. Heyman wonders if Punk can take Del Rio in the ring tonight. Heyman wants to be in Punk's corner for Money in the Bank but Punk won't let him.

* Damien Sandow comes out and cuts a heel promo. The Usos quickly beat Sandow and Cody Rhodes. After the match, The Shield appear on the big screen and promise to bring justice to The Usos at Money in the Bank.

* Alicia Fox beat Kaitlyn after AJ Lee came out and skipped around the ring to provide distraction.

* Another vignette for The Wyatt Family.

* Kaitlyn finds AJ backstage but AJ runs away. The Bella Twins appear and taunt her. Big E Langston is there and Kaitlyn gets made fun of some more.

* Randy Orton vs. Christian is up next.Good back and forth match with the fans into it. Orton gets the win with a RKO.

* Backstage segment with Teddy Long and Paul Heyman. Heyman will be on commentary for tonight's main event.

* Dolph Ziggler comes out and cuts a promo before quickly defeating Drew McIntyre. 3MB tried to attack Ziggler after the match but he escaped them.

* Fandango defeated Justin Gabriel in another quick match.

Colter, Antonio Cesaro, and Jack Swagger cut a promo about the Fourth of July.

* Paul Heyman comes out for commentary.

* Alberto Del Rio wrestled CM Punk to a No Contest via double count-out.

* After the match, Punk threw Del Rio back into the ring and hit him with the GTS. This concluded the tapings.

If Michaels ever came back, he must wrestle Rock, Brock, and Punk!

I've always found her boring&overrated,She's not that hot to me /I find her average in the ring even for a diva/She's the definition of horrible mic skills and has a bland character!!

It's good to see London and Kendrick are still teaming together. It seemed like WWE was pushing them to the moon, and then... nothing. Split them up, gave Kendrick a bit of a singles push, and then they both disappeared. Was it all because London laughed during the exploding limo scene?

Always thought they were great together. Can't wait to see them in PWG with a great combo of Gargano and Taylor.

After watching some great match ups from other fellow posters, how about:

TLC Match:

The Midnight Express VS The Four Horsemen (Arn and Tully) VS. The Hart Foundation VS The British Bulldogs

Randy Orton VS. Nikita Koloff

Kind of want to do a NJPW/Indie vs WWE/WCW dream booking match with all this dream match talk.
