I do. Is that so wrong? Not that it would fit into Singer's vision at all.

I would like to see Lois Lane. (Not the teeny bopper surfer girl pretending to be LL.):cmad:

No Krypto though.

Wants - as to marketing where WB blew it:

A teaser out the summer before the summer the film is released.

Do a year of Superman, but let's start it in January and not May.

Photography - this shis right up there - the photos officially released (forget the leaked ones) were generally meiocre. The standing on a box stuff is inexcusable IMO. I challenge anyone to deny that the promo shots for FF 2 and Spidey 3 are in a totally differeent league - as in major - from what they did with SR.

Don't forego traditional advertising. There were very few poster ot billboards for SR in the Bay Area - the nation's 4th largest media market market.

And no posters in the 3 main downtown SF subway stations - none! I am taliking Powell, Montgomery and Embarcadero.

Yet there were multiple X posters in each station. And now multiple GR posters in each station. It makes nos ense to pour millions into TV ads late May when sweeps are over and the TV audience drops 60%.

How about a super-bowl ad - that would have reached more unique viewers than all the late May/June TV stuff did.

Be creative - the Spiderman Itsy Bitzy doll was a top 10 seller this XMAS. Perfect - all the 5 - 10 year olds are waiting like nothing for Spiderman 3.

This is not rocket science. I am not in marketing but tther mistakes are obvious to me.

Maybe WB needs to out-sirce its marketing to Sony or Fox - you think?

I agree, that is fantastic. Looks like SR inspired trunks.

What I want:

- a true to the character Superman movie.

What I dont want:

- Singer at the helm of it.

All Star Superman #6. I love the way Frank Quietly draws Supes in these comics.

Yes, this is the only Supes title I have regulary bought in a long time. Great stuff! OT - when does the next issue come out? The DC schedule is off and I missed 2 isues.

I missed 6, I didnt even know it was out.

I know we already saw something like this, but my question is where does this shot come from? Could this shot, with the fleischer cartoon, and MCG storyboards combined to influence the plane scene.

There will be a trade paperback in 2 or 3 years but I hate missing any copy. The last issue will be huge - I bet Luthor dies then as well as Superman. Sort of fititng.

Back to issues - even my comic shop has no idea - he said it is 2 or 3 or 4 months between issues. I am not a comic saver there - have to buy 3 books/month which i have have never done. So I call every 3 weeks or so hoping I don't miss an issue.

I am scatterbrained with my comics, I actually just recently started getting into them within the past 3-4 years.

simple thread, just post pictures of what you really want to see in the next Superman movie...

for me, it would be this:

Didn't we see this when he stops in mid-air during his flight over the water? It seems very similar.

Lex, just check dccomics.com on a regular basis. ;)

They always have lists months in advance of scheduled releases. They are, of course, always subject to change (especially the All Star line), but they're pretty up to date for the most part.

I thought he struck a similar pose though, not exactly, but similar. I'd have to watch again.
