I am extremely disappointed by the fact that Welling will not wear the suit one day. I was hoping for this when it was all said and done, for at least a 30 second fly by in the last episode. I bet Smallville fans are pissed about this as well. If we were to read into this and run with it, like some posters on these boards do, we would say that this is definate proof that a sequels are on the way with Routh as Superman and Singer as the director.

I'm extremly overjoyed. I have nothing against Welling but the pwnage that would be to his fans would be priceless.

Especially if they end SV with no Supes, and then cut to a Superman:Man of Steel teaser

Singer tests most of the stunts out also, to get a feel for the cinematography.

He even jumped the rigs that Bender used in his Smallville farm scenes.

It's usually what good directors do.
