Thank you Hellmistress. I love the character too. I have a web site devoted to the character with a few new insights to that particular show if I can ever get it off the ground. It should be real interesting. We're so close. If I could just get my brother off his rear and finish up a few details.

The way I see it, Hypestyle, most of the people who will see FF2 will watch it to see the F4 from the first movie and alot of them won't even know or care who the Silver Surfer really is, so I don't think anyone above a B-list actor is necessary...This movie franchise is established among the general audience already.

Ya know, the voice for SS, I think they should go with an older actor like the mentioned Geoffrey Rush,...Only because I think it'd go well alongside Doug Jones' height. They don't want to make this 6'4" alien being with immense power sounding too much like someone who doesn't know what he's doing.

I'm also liking Alan Tudyk (Sonny from I, Robot) for the voice.

He just needs to practice his voice work and tone it down a bit and he'll be great. Some voice mechanisms could be fine, as well.

When Doug was shooting, he pitched his voice deeper than his normal talking voice. There's an Urban Rush interview on youtube where you hear him do the voice for about a line.

I took that as an oppurtunity and created a myspace site dedicated to me trying to get...just an audition. I know there are plenty of talents out there who would do a great job, including Doug Jones himself,who is the motion captured Surfer. I'm just trying to get a chance to throw my name in the hat and let those with the power choose the best person for the job.
