You've blasted X3 just as hard as I have. Maybe I'm going overboard, but being told to "get over it" is BS, in my opinion. If everyone "got over it" when they were told to, we'd still be a colony of England.

NOT that this is on that kind of scale of course.

No offense, kuro, but i havent blasted X3 nearly as bad as you have. Many of your posts consist of telling Fox and Rothman to go ***** themselves. Yeah, I think X3 will lose something will Cykes death, but you seem to think its on the level of Batman & Robin level.

Yeah, apologists make me sick with their constant get over its, but this thread is ridiculous. You have people wanting to vote on some stupid poll that will not affect Fox in any way, shape, or form. And then you have the usual cyclops trolls like Star Chaser.

Honestly, it all makes me sick. Cyclops fans whine and whine, and then get souped because he might come back in a sequel that'll never happen,screaming "FU Fox" over and over, like they'll respect us that way. And then you get Wolverine and Storm fans who have NO place telling cyke fans what to do. And then you get absolute BS. The Cylops thread hasnt been about the character in a LONG time. It makes me sad when people start to equate Cyclops with whiners. It makes me even sadder that Wolverine and Storm , to me anyway, now represent Pretentious, Egomaniac fanboys who whine about whiners.

It's infinately worse than Batman and Robin. There's no comparision. Batman & Robin was just a bad movie length episode of the Adam West TV show. It wasn't on anywhere near the same scale as what they're doing in X3. And Batman is my favorite DC character, so it's not like I didn't hate B & R-it sucked. But in the overall scheme of things, it wasn't as terrible as X3. Plus it led to Batman Returns. If X3 led to a movie that was as good and as respectful to the comics as Batman Returns, then I'd learn to get over it too.

But Cyclops fans have a legitimate gripe. It's not like before, when the gripe was just about limited screentime. Now the character is dead. And who knows where that'll lead with the comics. We already have Spider-Man with organic webs, and we've had the X-Men in leather uniforms. I wouldn't put it past Marvel one bit to kill Cyclops in the comics, especially if X3 is a huge hit.
