In the TV spot it says "Kitty Pryde", so they may just introduce her as Katherine Pryde and then use Kitty as her code name...


And it looks like she's going to be tangling with Juggy more than Xavier, are they gonna skip the family ties AGAIN like they did with Mystique and Nightcrawler???

It definately came from Xavier's sentinel. Xavier doesn't treat his noobs very nicely.

I've been wondering aswell - what FX Kitty will have when she phases(will she and whatever she touches go slightly transparent?). I presume that above shot won't look like that in the final print - Iceman and Kitty still look solid as the missile passes through them, unless they just use a certain sound effect for Kitty phasing or something.

If you'd bothered to read her interviews - she states no desire to work in Hollywood, and perfectly at home at where she is, in independent, low-budget cinema where talent actually takes precedence over looks.
