Age of Ultron War Machine / Iron Patriot ???

Unless it helps him become an avenger in the end and going into Infinity Wars
We have nine Avengers in this film. This is there movie, it is there finale.

From his comments it seems like he's joining the team eventually. We know he suits up in this.

I'm not sure what exactly you're saying. We already know we're getting a new or at least altered Avengers line-up after this movie.

IGN had this from Marvel's senior VP.

Well, the Avengers' roster is always changing, and that's part of the fun of the comics. It's one of the promises that we want to play with in this film, that there are always going to be new characters [joining] the team and old characters leaving the team. There's a continually changing roster. That's something we definitely play with in this film, and you might get to see cameos of War Machine or other people. I mean, we want to make this world as lively as possible, and we've set people up in the universe. They exist. We want to deal with that where we can.

Personally, I wish WM and Falcon would join the Avengers, along with the Maximoff Twins and Vision. I love the current roster, but I think they also should rotate members so we can see other new faces on the team. Keep in mind that Black Panther, Capt. Marvel, and Ant-Man/Wasp may also join in the future. I think another solution is to greenlight a new movie called Secret Avengers, so we can get another team with more Avengers in it.

Grain of salt but if the early spoilers are to be believed

Rhodey suits up for the final battle and joins Cap's new team at the end

War Machine finally suited up and in action!

Thank God. And there's a helicarrier there as well. Does that indicate a SHIELD presence? Or did the USA repo and commandeer the helicarrier fleet after TWS?

Awesome! Didn't realise he was actually getting in on the action, this should make up for his lack of it in IM3.

I am happy that they included him but i wish they wouldn't have shown the actual footage of him fighting and left it as a nice surprise

I'm really glad they show him doing his thing separately. He also appears in the party scene so he's getting embedded deep into the background/foundation of the team even if he isn't a fully fledged Avenger.

This is good, I've always wanted a more diverse Avengers team. He may not be a full fledged Avenger in the movie, but he's a key ally.

I'm so glad we are getting some War Machine action. Iron Man 3 disappointed me in that respect.

I wonder if they will explain where he was during the events of Avengers 1.

This makes up for Iron Patriot kicking doors as an action scene.
