How could a girl that can dodge 100s of bullets be hit by a plastic needle? I was just speculating anyways...I know we saw it hit her but she very well could have faked the whole thing.

If she dodged it, it would have hit Magneto. That's why he said "You saved me". Anyway, I think she and Magneto were still working together. She led them right into Magneto's trap. If she could still be working with him while he was in a plastic prison, she could easily be imprisoned and work a plan with him.

Then again, Jean could have sensed the plan against them a planet away and this would have allowed Magneto to know to send Multiple Man

Read my first post...I am arguing for two possibilites:
1. She faked her curing.
2. The cure's effects wore off.

Of course Magneto would not have known that the cure is not permanent. Because Mystique was the first mutie cured. Magneto got some of his powers back at the end. Who is to say Mystique hadn't started getting hers back. You also have to think about how Magneto's and Mystique's powers originated. Magneto got his in his teenage years through a traumatic experience. Mystique(and Nightcrawler)were born with their powers. Maybe that might make a difference when it comes to the cure?

She could of easily regained her powers between said curing and betrayal and went to Magneto to work out a plan? That was easily a few days in between those events.

Or Magneto knew the troops would find his base eventually, and kept Multiple Man there for insurance, in case they did find it.

I highly doubt MM would stand their for 72 hours waiting for the military. After all...it would take a long time for Magneto to sectretly travel from his forest hideout to sunny San Fran without being noticed.

Then how did it all just fall together oh so conveniently? I think these b_stards at Fox know what they are doing and set up a million possibities for characters to return in another movie.

I agree that they've left things open for Mystique, but not because of any sort of plan with Magneto, but rather, because the cure is only temporary. Personally, I'd like to see Mystique develop her own crew and seek revenge on Magneto for him turning his back on her.
