I feel like I'm going round and round in circles here, in the various threads, so I thought I'd just come out and ask it. I personally didn't like Superman Returns. In fact, in all honsety, I hated it. That's not because it was a terrible movie; it's because it wasn't a terrific movie. And yes, I know, my hopes were too high, and I set myself up for a fall.
But personal opinion aside, I honestly thought it was a fairly decent film. I think there were fantastic parts of it that I really enjoyed (as I've said repeatedly, I LOVED the rescue scenes), but for me, the bad parts of the film were too much and I just couldn't get past them
What I want to know is this; instead of arguing and just out and out denying that there were even any single flaws in the film, if I can happily say, yes there were good parts of the film, but that was not enough for me to love it, why can those that love it not just say yes, there were some awful parts, but they were not enough to make me not love it?
So basically, what I want to know is, do some of you actually believe the movie was flawless and perfect?
