90s Inferior Five.

With all the DC nods on Seinfeld; Superman, Bizzaro World, got no Green Lantern, what's the deal with Aquaman, etc.. the most obvious one they missed, back when the show was actually on, I'm surprised DC never capitalized on it, although they likely didn't realize they were pretty much the cast of DC's Inferior Five.
It's so close it's scary:

"Five Characters in Search of a Plot" - literally a Superhero show about nothing.

- The de facto "leader" Jerry not just looks like White Feather, but acts like him too - the scene of him turning tail from the armoire loving street-toughs, or better when he runs away scared wearing those cowboy boots... LOL! He is white-feather.
-Elaine although not blond or that dumb, she is dumb about allot of s*** , relationships, friends, I mean look who she hangs out with LOL

-Merryman is physically more Larry David than Jason Alexander, yet they are both channeling the same exact depressive, neurosis-filled character. The obvious irony, being the quintessential exact opposite of a "merry-man".
-Awkwardman is pretty much Krammer in look and perasonality, add when he went swimming in the east-river.
-The Blimp Newman, nuff saiid.

Maybe it was just too close.

On the Spiderman front , there are several actresses who could have made a great Aunt May throughout the decades.

Oscar winner Jessica Tandy ( Driving Miss Daisy, The Birds) would have made a pretty good Aunt May in the 60s through the 70s

Fellow Oscar winner Cloris Leachman ( The Last picture Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show), also could have made a very good Aunt May in the 1970s and 80s

Joan Allen ( The Borne Identity, Nixon) would have also made a good Aunt May in the 90s.
She actually played Tobey Maguire's Mother in The Ice Storm.

Logan Marshall-Green as the Webbverse Venom or if he did got the role for the 2018 solo film or if he did appeared only as Eddie Brock for a cameo role instead Jackson Brice back in Homecoming.

Costume wise: I know this is a thread for fan casting but I wanted to post something fun after fancasting the actors. Since Sam Raimi really wanted to go for a semi comic booky route for the villain costumes like the recent John Malkovich Vulture sculpture model that was found and reposted this week while Bruce Campbell wears the classic Mysterio suit, then I pictured the Electro suit being similar towards the Ditko suit with a mix of the Kelly Yates Hasbro Concept Art, the GBA suit, and minor parts of a containment suit from the Spectacular Spider-Man and Johann kraus's suit from Hellboy 2.

Back in the 90s , I envisioned him as a Romita era, and 1990s Spiderman the animated series version of Harry Osborn

1970s through 1990s actor Dabney Coleman, would have made a hysterical and bombastic J. Jonah Jameson circa the 80s and 90s.

With Wakanda Forever out , it reminds me of several actors who could have made a Great T'Challa over the years.

In the 1960s , the first choice would be the GOAT, Sydney Poitier

TV and Screen actor Calvin Lockhart would also have made a pretty good T'Challa circa the 1960s and 1970s

Billy Dee Williams ,imo , would have made a pretty Suave and Cool T'Challa circa the 1970s and early 80s

A 1980s and 1990s Denzel Washington would have made an excellent Black Panther

I feel like the Rock would have made a killer Apocalypse in a good X-Men movie. I guess that could still happen at some point, though it seems unlikely since he just did Black Adam (a similar character in some respects). Of course, BA didn’t do well at the box office and people didn’t like it so it’s possible WB won’t want to use the character again. And maybe by the time Marvel gets around to Apocalypse, there will have been a lot of distance between that film and BA. Of course, the Rock may have aged out of the role by then.

Still. ARockalypse could be epic.
