why would it just be about a game when the rest of the stuff at the comic con is on films its probably tdk new trailer. Like people where thinknig before.

Sometimes games can offset films. Just like Halo 3 did to films that released the weekend of October 25th, 2007 and what GTA IV could do to "Iron Man" next week. A comic book convention might be something for game marketers to take interest in since the people going will be in their target market (especially considering this game).
