The runtime is 133 minutes with credits. That's what was reported a while back and it's what Fandango is showing and that's what the thing you linked to is showing.

124 minutes is without the credits.

I know, I realized my mistake. :)

I heard the movie was only 94 minutes. :o

That's WB's studio exec approved, focus group tested, theatrical cut that was edited by trailer editors. They will release an extended better version on home video.:o

I would say they will have a Rogue Cut... but I couldn't think of anything clever.

True, sometimes, the movie feels a little too much like another one of those endless comic-book origin stories – yards of exposition, lots of introductions, and then a city-shaking cataclysm for a climax. That's not what the Potter series is about, and with luck, further installments won't follow in the same well-worn commercial path the studio is already running down with its DC friends.

But although it's hard to see how the filmmakers are going to stretch this out for four more promised films, for now fans can at least look forward to this adventure. Harry and Hermione and Ron may have gone on to other things. But some of their most powerful magic is back. And I don't think we could have waited another minute.

It's a success - thrilling, stunning, warm and witty. While Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them might not quite match the very best of the Hogwarts series, it's a welcome return to an intricately drawn universe that bodes very well indeed for the next four Beasts instalments.

As a part of the Potter universe, it works wonderfully - though swapping school-term woes for grown-up problems might distance kids not fully initiated. Packed with Easter eggs and hints at what's to come, Rowling's first go as screenwriter shows what a talent she is, and only increases anticipation for where she'll lead us next. From the opening music to the sweet final beat, it's a joy to be back in Rowling's world. Open the suitcase, we're coming in.

got its first negative review by none other than Scott Mendelson lol

he gave Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them the same score he gave deadpool, doctor strange, star trek beyond ,the conjuring 2,the force awakens - 5/10

I see the contrarian rises. :p

Scott actually echoes what some other critics are saying, the franchise/world building stuff dragging down the movie but in the case of other critics, they pretty much agree that Jo handles that stuff expertly and sets up bigger and better scope for the sequels.

Rowling’s script is thrillingly immersive, plunging the audience into a fully-realised world of wizarding that’s at once instantly familiar to die-hard Potter fans and yet dizzyingly inventive and original at the same time.

Exciting, imaginative and warm-hearted, this is an enormously entertaining fantasy adventure with great characters, impressive effects work, and a brilliantly realised setting.

At an advanced screening in Paris right now (waiting for the film to start). I have a feeling this thing is going to be massive. People are way too excited about it.
Will probably disrupt Disney's domination at the box office.

Thanks. Advanced screenings are always a blast. It's the only time I get to enjoy a movie amongst an excited crowd. Most of the time French people go to the movies like its a funeral or something. They are super quiet, they don't cheer clap or boo. It's a completely different experience than in the US.

You in Le Grand Rex mate??

Redmayne does play Scamander as kind of a Sheldon Cooper-esque savant with no social skills.
