Well that goes without saying. My heart is cold as snow. :o

It's nice seeing The Doctor in the wizarding world.....

I don't usually have much use for JK's opinion on the books especially when it comes to the bully gang so.
Snape rules forever. :sly:
Faith was guiding JK to make sure she didn't hook up H/H and I thank god for that.
Ginny was James in behavior and Lily in looks so Harry pretty much hooked up with his parents, ew. Hated her in the book and she was boring as hell in the movies.
Harry should have been with Luna. :ilv:
Hermione maybe with Victor Krum.

Ewww internet shipping.

Internet shipping is what nearly ruined Arrow for me with those gosh darn Olicity shippers, but my love for DC convinced me to continue watching.

Do the Clintons seem happily married to you? :woot:

Also, never found Ron affable and charming.

They make it work dammit. :cmad: I just felt the chemistry on the page between the two felt the most palpable and really well done. You were aching for it to happen. I'll be honest. I always thought Neville and Hermione would make a great couple too.

Ya'll killing me with the lack of Ron/Hermione love. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go back and read some 2006 fan fiction.

I actually didn't actively ship anyone reading it. I was just glad the main hero didn't hook up with the main female character. I liked their friendship just as it was. Hated Ginny and thought Harry deserved better otherwise didn't care who he hooked up with.

Book 6 is my least favorite with all the nonsense shipping. JK is terrible at romance.

I think Luna would've helped Ron be less of a *****e.

EDIT: And yeah, that "beast roaring in his chest" bull***** in HBP was awful.

Snape was a childish petty git. This is Snape in a nutshell:

Snape: "Waaaaa I was picked on! Im gonna take all my emo angst out on an innocent kid who resembles the girl I can't get over and the man who used to give me magical wedgies. Waaaaa!"

Snape could infiltrate a thousand evil oginizations and it wouldnt excuse his behavior throughout the books.

James may have been a git in school, but he outgrew it and became a good man who died for his family and for the wizarding world. Snape never grew up and he joined the death eaters and leaked the information that sent Voldemort after Lilly, James and Harry and the only reason he ever abandoned voldemort is because his desire to bone Lilly outweighed his desire to be Voldemort's *****. Snape is the definition of ****head.

Harry wanting to be with someone that looks a lot like his mother is weird no matter how you slice it. :funny:

Snape's treatment of Harry is not justified. No, I agree 100 percent but neither is James and Sirius bullying of Snape is justified. I've have seen many fans of that gang and even JK try to justify it. Boys will be boys nonsense argument. NO go for me as someone who suffered bullying. Glad that bully git got killed by Voldemort. Only useful thing Voldy did. :sly:

I liked them together in the books. It was palpable, as you say. In the movies (though I confess, I still haven't seen either DH1 or 2 all the way through) it became it bit irritated because Ron's actor didn't seem to like it all that much. He want from funny, goofy and kind (with a bit of a jealous streak) to just jealous and sour, low-energy sulker. Which was annoying.

Yeah, I was just poking fun. I have to deal with "interesting" people shipping Dipper and Mabel Pines on other sites so shipping is kind of tainted for me now lol.

And before anyone says that snape died for the wizarding world, he died trying to stop voldemort to atone for his crimes. Crimes he wouldnt have committed if he had any character.

No offense but you are letting your own history with bullying paint snape as something he wasnt. Snape being bullyed doesnt excuse anything he did. And James being a mean kid doesnt negate the good man he became. And it sure as **** doesnt make him deserving of death. Seriously, thats some sociopathic shiy you just said.

The way Snape is defended online draws parallels to those situations where you see Facebook pages for criminals. :funny:

Except unlike Snape, they grew up to be functioning adults who changed their ways. Snape grew up to become a murder and the kind of person who bullies kids.

I was someone who used to defend Snape. He may have done a lot of good, but he was not a good man. He could be very cruel at times, even outside of anything to do with the Death Eaters.

It doesn't matter if James "outgrew" or not. It doesn't change the damaged he and his pal did. People commit suicide as the result of bullying. Snape was already dealing with horrible family life and he had to deal with that **** in school. Dombledore didn't do much to help because he had his favorite and shady as f&** character.
We'll never going to agree on this.

Bullying is horrible. Which is why Snape as an adult bullying Harry and others is the far more horrible. He knew better and did it anyways.

Who is defending Snape. I don't get why people are defend bullying *******s. I'm defending him against James and Sirius. Not against his actions with Harry. Those are two different things.

Why complain about James and Sirius, who grew up and out of it, when Snape is right there to complain about. A much worse piece of garbage who bullied.
