I just want to thank everyone for all of the support (SuperHeroHype, the moderators, and all the members who voted YES in the petition forum). Without you, a Star Trek forum would not be possible. Now we can boldy go where no message board has gone before... (okay, maybe that was a little corny 
).
Star Trek had so much going against it from the beginning, but nothing got in its way. 6 series, 12 films (including Into Darkness), and a large amount of books/novels, its a franchise that still continues to grow. Where do we go on from here, after JJ Abrams debuts his sequel to the 2009 reboot? A new series? More films? Well, only time will tell, but I think its safe to say that Star Trek is here to stay, no matter what direction it goes in.
