I think we could change to copper wire and conduct it into the fluid instead of using it for a heating coil and just extrude the fluid from the cartridge into the spinneret via pressure.

How are we gonna generate the 5,000 volts it says is necessary though? Or would it be a different amount for our polymer?

I don't think electrospinning is the thing we want, We should use dry spinning or melt spinning. But hey you can do whatever you want

I think that is how Peter Parker made his in the Amazing Spider-man because when he touched it it shocked than erupted and that is the only way he could have a small cartridge like that.

I don't want to be rude or anything but why do you guys use the movies as references for the real shooter?

HOT MELT DESIGN
Heating coil= 380°F
My formula (Subject to change) Hot melt glue, it is semi-strong, a good thermoplastic to start out with, tacky/sticky when melted, elastic.
Spinneret= Basketball pump nozzle. No cooling chamber needed because hot glue solidifies fast and it will solidify on its own while flying through the air.
Hot glue is also shear thinning. The higher the temperature lowers viscosity of the hot glue. It is melted in the hot glue gun, but if its really hotter than a hot glue gun it can be runny, if that makes since.

Question, if you want it to FULLY solidify it won't be sticky and will not grip on to a surface. Hopefully mine will halfway solidify and will still be a little sticky.
