hi im new to the forums but ive been "studying" this thread since december. i think u all are very passionate and talented on your shooters. ive been a fan of spidey since i was 5 and im 13 now! i have a bunch of cool ideas and i plan to post them soon!

Hey, long time no see ya'll....aha, I'm curious as to acouple of things.
1.) Has anybody gotten a working shooter with pictures of it, other than the web?
2.) If anyone else interested, i am quite interested in the rowler's gauntlets right now and I just wondered if anyone may have any idea on how to make those. I know i need pressurized cartridges, some sort of releasing valve, sleeping gas(does that exist?), or pepper spray and several cartridges. it looks like this.

if you can see, they're in the lefthand corner. It's good to be back

does anybody know how i can upload photos on the thread with printer thats a scanner?

What if the cartridge could be a disk could that work?

That was the original idea when we first got a glimpse of the movie shooters, but we have since learned that is not how it is in the movie. However, it is still an idea we can work with. However, at the pressure we need to have it at, it would expand too much to really be feasible.

hello again! i found this video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWoQ3D6RMXs&feature=g-vrec
if you watch the video you can see that the polymer hardens with the water into a soft, squishy rubber. if u could add rubber cement or something similiar to make it stronger, it could work as a good web formula for trapping someone to a wall-LIKE :cwink: ! the dilema would be to shoot out the polymer powder. just an idea

I had made my 7th webshooter blueprint I'll upload it tomorrow it will have more detailed,it will give you info on the parts.

Ehhhhhh..........wheres my blueprint?I've just transfered my pic to the message but where the shock is it?

nice reference to 2099. To post pictures, I've found it's more effective to post the links vs the picture.

TheWeb said something on Skype, that I think may have altered my design a bit.
He said that he would keep his microcontrollers in a belt, and I think I may have thought up something.
I have some old IR stuff, from when I built a security system for my house. I think I will put the microcontrollers in a belt buckle, then use IR to send out a signal to the microcontroller when the trigger is pressed. That will activate an electronic pulse, which activates a valve in a backpack, where the fluid is kept. It is then channeled into the shooter.
I will post some drawings later, BTW.

Eh, like photobucket or something, then post the link. Better than putting it on the forum itself.

If i put my arduino in the belt it will be where the buckle is, it will also have a high powered led(just like in the comics) to act as a flash light. The rest of the belt will hold web cartridges(also just like the comics).
