Comics Web Shooters comic versions

Ok yeah i understand completely but i am starting a project (i hope this thread is appropiate) of building a real version of the comic books shooter. I not saying that it would probably be fuctional but just something cool to model and "show-off" But do anybody think this is an appropiate thread or do i need to make a new one in the product section

Okay i'll get started right away but i hate to be the only one if anybody else is interested in given a shot GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway it will NOT be bulky i want it to hold web cartridges 360 degree with the nozzle being on the trigger and cartridges (loaded) right in front and without having that mumble jumble stuff they did like on sony's design and the one they have on marvel. If any body seen the spectatcular spiderman series and how his look similar to that but a little different.

i've started on a quick design. Don't worry chris it not a real design. So i'm still waiting (patience is what i'm trained to be) anyway i'm really liking the model they use in spectacular spiderman.Cartoon series. there is a couple episode when they showed it including Survival of the fittest, Catalyst (when he changing web fluid cartridges on both shooters) tThe one they showed in catalyst had more show time thus i got a good picture of what the nozzle look like and how the cartridges is able to rotate to a fresh on after one is empty so it made more since. Thus i am building my web shooter nozzle off that version but i'm planning on building 2-3 models. And they will not be very bulky like hammond shooters. It will bebig but thin enought to hide under a costume or something.

Hey guys. It doesn't matter who does it or not but anybody that can draw really good or is an artist or SHH if you can please give me a sketch or a drawing of some web shooters. If you can post it on here or PM me the link. Anything would do great!! So if anybody can plz feed me some pictures so i'll no which design i want to make it from because the other one is not working.

Ok, the reason Ben makes the finger movements is because his web-shooter isusing impact sensors on the inside of the blow-up cuff.
when his muscles move in a certain way, thats the type of projectile that comes out:
Hold your wrist with your other hand tightly, but not so tight that you cant move.
now make the 3 finger pose and feel how your muscles expand and contract, then move your wrist up or down, the tightened muscles all hit different specific spots, those spots that are hit are what tells the web-shooters what to use, be it webbing, goo, Impact webbing, Stinger Darts, or micro-dot tracers.

All of his cartridges are the same but the webbing that he fires are different. He has stingers, impact webbing, Of course web line webbing. All different types.

Do anybody think what web-shooter would work in the real world like with a realistic look and not just a bunch of square jumbled together. The ones he uses in BND i think would make it. It does look and disguise itself as a watch. But one that has the ability to hold a lot of webbing. It'll still work but the cartridges would have to be longer.

I remember seeing in a book explaining spiderman had all the cartilages lined on his utility belt and it held like 36 I think of them

EDIT-Wikipedia has it at 30 cartridges.

hey guys i'm just getting back from NYC and i saw alot of great stuff. I've got pictures and will upload them as soon as possible. I saw alot of sights and stuff of where they shoot the spiderman movies including the bugle, the church(sm3) PP apartment in soho. Also the bridge where he propose to mj. Anyway i saw alot but to get back on topic


Wikipedia says that peter made his webshooters like a braclet like carousel and have it to rotate cartridges as he empties them. I've seen what this look like on the spectacular spiderman show on the episode i think opening night. It look possible and more believable because of the shooters design but how would this work on his other web shooters like the ones in the comics and USM. They don't have the 2 "bar" thin that circle around the front and back of his cartridges the other designs are just 10 cartridges and a nozzle and trigger. So how will this work.
