Welling Question?

Just wondering should they have dyed Welling's hair black and given him blue contacts to look more like the comic book Clark Kent/Superman.

They dyed his hair black the first season, but didn't bother with the contacts.

His light green eyes look blue in certain light and I think they help them look bluer sometimes with a little CGI...

After the first season, they haven't dyed his hair again. I don't think it helped him, the color was too flat. It didn't look natural.

I liked it dyed because it didn't look exactly natural.
To me it gave him a subtle otherwordly look which I think is great for Superman.

Kinda wish they continued doing it.

wow...I guess I'm not too observant. I always thought Tom's hair was black.

yea i never had a problem with his hair or eye colors. I always thought they looked gray/blueish myself. Alot better then cain having brown eyes lol.

And well lets just say your not alone. Plus I always thought Toms eyes where just a light blue.

They're green and his hair definitely isn't black, it's dark brown.

well he still has a great look, and in different settings tom's eyes do pop with a blue'ish look to them.

Tom Welling looks a lot like Jeff East who played the young Clak Kent in Superman: The Movie.
