Were there any parts that made you jump out of your seat?

for me it would be when harry jumps out of the corner in mj's apartment, it gets me every time, heck, i didn't even know that part was in the movie!

Yes, I jumped at the part where Harry grabbed MJ in her apartment, too. I fell for the scares in each of the three movies the first time I saw them.

Norman's flashback when he woke up in his mansion after he became the Goblin, Ock's tentacle appearing over the balcony and shoving Harry back, and then the SM-3 one.

Raimi was originally a horror director so it isn't surprising to me to have seen him add such a "terrifying" edge to Venom. I found it really neat that Venom was treated like a creature in a horror film. Definitely a wicked interpretation; Raimi, you rock!

yeah, first time i saw the movie i was waiting for that when peter was looking at his reflection, gripping my seat, and then, nothing.

Nothing made me jump, I just enjoyed the movie. I'm glad I didn't spoil myself as much as I did for Spider-Man 2, because I couldn't get into that movie as much as 1 and 3. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but I just couldn't enjoy while at the theater for my first viewing.

I never got startled and jumped but the first time I saw post transformation Venom's face, I jumped in amazement.

i felt creeped out when tophers face was changing, he was creepy. new golbin seen not so much. venom grabbing mj scared me a bit. besides that i think the whole final battle made me almost die really. i got goosebumps to the extreme. mostly towards where venom gets cut and screams. that made me happy.
