Thats what I think is pretty great about it. Finally a THEME! It just feels more like the X-men to me than any of the other films. X3 sorta had a theme, a great one, but it just wasn't there enough beyond jumping out of the X-Jet. Theres a consistency that I really like about the first class music, I hope with the sequels it will KEEP this overall theme, ala Batman, Spider-Man and such.

2). Cyclops visits Alkali Lake

3). Wolverine and Storm return to Alkali Lake

4). And through much of the Battle at Alcatraz.

Cyclops at Alkali Lake had the Phoenix theme. There may have been some of the X-Men theme while he was on the motorcycle.

You forgot the moment Storm takes flight outside of Jean's house.

I think my favorite tracks on the new score are definitely "First Class" and "Cerebro", I'm still not sure about "Magneto", I prefer the Magneto theme in "Not that sort of bank", but who knows, maybe when hearing it in context and seeing the Magneto suit in all its glory it could become my favorite track ever.

This score is an absolute knockout. There's no competition really. The other scores were great but this one is going to elevate the film to a whole other level. I suspect Henry Jackman might end up as one of the greats.

You're onto something, what I love is how Jackman was able to make the main theme sound heroic, but not so overtly heroic which tends to bore me, I hope to listen to way more variations of the theme throughout the movie, only two more days!
