What are some of your unusual quirks?

One of my own quirks I hate is that when I talk to someone like one of my managers at work, and I think it came off wrong or stupid sounding, I will repeat it to myself like three time,s and think about how I could have said it better.

OMG, same here!

When eating a dorito, I always bite each tip off first.
When I was a little kid, I would eat only the cheesiest part of the chip and put the rest back in the bag. My family did not appreciate that. :hehe:

let me guess..you're also notorious for 'sampling' all of a box of chocolates too..am I right? Am I right?

Whenever I go to the bathroom when I'm at home I close the door, yet I leave by myself.

When I go to the bathroom i usually leave the door a little open, this is a reverb from my old habit of leaving my stero playing while i would go, so i could hear the tunes better.
I don't do that anymore as my stereo is broken, but keep the habit cause it kind of makes the room feel fresher or something.
I live in a two floor house though, so i only do this if I am the only person on up the upstairs floor, if I hear someone coming up the stairs i get up and lock the door.

Aye, I never got into the thing of sitting reading a book on the bog, I just wanna get it done and get out of there asassap, lol.

whenever i am in someone's house and see a row of books or magazines siting in the bog, there is no chance i will pick one up to read it while doing the poo-doo, a. it might distarct me from the task at hand and make it's journey longer somehow, and b. I can't help but think that there are lots of microscopic bog germs crawling about on the books, cause, there probably are. Toilet germs are destroying books, that is a fact. You never see a book in a toilet in a library do you, no. and remember that ep of Seinfeld where George was forced to buy a book in that bookstore cause he took it to read in the store's toilet, scientists and bookstore owners have known this for years, it is a manky habit, keep yer books in the living room ffs. Read a newspaper you are going to chuck out or something.

I can't let the volume level on the car stereo be an odd number.

Same here, but I also do it with the tv. I try to not do it, but it's rare. There really has to be a difference in the volume from say a 9 to an 8 or 10. If it's more important to the quality or volume level I will do it, but it's extremely rare.

I do it with the tv as well. Just lately I have been doing it more while on the road.

It's such an odd thing and I have no idea where it came from.

Same for me, where the hell did this come from? Maybe because we have taken note of this odd ball crap, we might have the ability to change it. (my attempt at optimism)

Its sad for me to think about how I turn the knob to 24 while it is on 23 on a stock jeep stereo.

Lol. No idea, it's not like I don't notice me doing it either, but if I put it to 11 I have to turn it down or back up. Even if I attempt to leave it, it lasts maybe a minute, if that.

If I close my eyes and try it, I check just to be sure. But if I don't notice, maybe I pressed the button twice by accident, then I change the volume later and see I put it to 14, I think, huh, it's been on an odd volume this whole time.

Didn't bother me at all. Weird.

It's a form OCD. I have OCD pretty bad when it comes to a lot of things. I have no idea how it starts.

I was thinking it is, but it's just with volume on car stereos and the tv. NBD.

I usually take my Itouch, DSi, or something good to read when I'm taking a ****.
I always bring my Ipod touch with me when I do number 2. It got so bad that one time I spent nearly an hour just sitting there playing Angry Birds, even though I finished a long time ago.:oldrazz:

Whenever I lock a door, I always triplecheck to see that it's really locked. Like pulling on the handle, or on my car, always checking to see that the alarm is on.

No matter what I check my lights to make sure they are off when i get out of the car even though they were not on.
Sometimes I'll tap each window at night to make sure they are up and closed even though I can see they are closed.

Every time I take a s*** I either bring in my PSP , a novel , a comic book or a newspaper.

No matter where I go out to eat I always have to get a seat next to a wall and not by any windows.

Whenever I eat cookie or crackers I always eat four at a time.

When I'm thinking about something or bored I throw a coin/dog chain/battery up in the air.

When I talk to myself I pretend that there is a person next to me and motion my head to that person.

Is his name Tyler Durden?

If I do something dumb or make mistake. About 2 or 3 days later I will think about situation and berate myself for a good two hours.

I haven't named him yet. Don't want to get too insane. But it's more like that House episode when House is talking to the ghost of Amber.

I don't think it's a bad thing, practicing conversations I think is actually good.

It's bad when you forget your in public.
