Many of you here I've seen around for years on both the Hype and Bluetights, and considering Smallville will probably end after next season, I'm just curious where most of you will end up. Will you guys still post around here and move onto other forums, or will you stop posting all together. I've recently had to come to grips with the fact that I now have almost zero in common with most Superman fans because of my major disappointment in SR, so Smallville is the only Superman media I follow and post on anymore. But after Smallville ends I'm not sure what I'm going to do. So what are you going to do?

I'll still post around a little on the comics and games thread.

I'll probably get IM addresses to the regulars here to keep in touch periodically.

I still post in DC and community. smallville forum is my #2. i also poke around dark knight lookin for who harvey dent is gonna be.

I post all over the boards so yes I'll be around :D

A thorn in the sides of the board Morg!!! *Shakes fist* :cwink:

I dunno. I live one day at a time. Planning my retirement is one thing. Planning how I'm gonna procrastinate my free time two (or more?) years from now is another LOL.

I feel your pain man. There was once a day when most of the "regulars" here where regulars in the Superman forums. Once the fanbase factioned, I just didnt enjoy talking about the character online as much as I used to, except of course for Smallville. When the show ends it will be pretty bittersweet. We wont have the show anymore but we'll have seen Clark become Superman which will be worth it's wait (pun intended) in gold. Hopefully we'll have some other form of live action DC show to watch, but it wont be the same as Smallville.

Nothing will ever be the same as SV. :(

No other DC hero can top Superman (in "theory.") And Welling as CK? Well, that goes w/o saying.

<- Admits to being biased.

Well, Season 7 should wrap up in May 2008. So that puts me squarely in the Dark Knight forum through July. After that, who knows? :(
That's actually sad to think about...

I agree with Hulk and Patsy, it won't be the same.:csad:

I'll be at the comic forum. I don't post as much at Bluetights so my time will be spent in the comics and Batman and Spider-Man and Comm. forum.

i'm in the doctor who thread, community, comics, x men and superman

Well, I don't post much in this forum anyway, but Justice is the make or break episode of Smallville for me. If that fails to deliver like every other episode this season, it's getting taken off the season pass.

I'm gonna watch the whole 7 seasons from start to finish. It will have an even bigger impact !

That'll be an interesting couple of weeks for you...unless your planning on not sleeping and it'll be a week.

Since I'm a BATMAN, SUPERMAN & SPIDER-MAN die-hard comic book mythology fanboy. I'm just going to continue posting in those forums .

So Even when smallville is over . It really won't make a big difference . I'll still be posting @ SHH, Bluetights, etc ...

Seriously get to work and establish connections for my Spider-Man: The Series. The next 'Smallville'. Not going to say any more. But, I think the fans of SV will really dig SM because it's going to be a very similar type show.

I already hardly post, been here since summer 03 and most of my posts are in smallville. I used to post in the toys section where they discussed the Marvel Legends line etc... but grew out of that and sold my collection lol so yeah. If this closes then I guess I wont be posting anymore, not that anyone cares or it would make a difference though.

I will have to be hospitalized for clinical depression. But just like after the end of "Justice league Unlimited", I will move on to something else.

Like Tupac said. "Life goes on".

don't remind me about the loss of JLU!

It really does. :)

I don't know what the policy is around these parts for keeping a forum open, but I hope they don't close the doors the minute the show ends.

There are a lot of fan outlets for shows that are no longer on the air. Granted, they aren't as well populated as they were in the heyday's of their respective shows, but you'd be surprised at how fiercely loyal people can be. Star Trek ring a bell?

I'm still a member of a few forums/mailgroups that are based on shows that have been off the air for years. It's more of a social thing now, since we've all known each other (online) for many years now. But sometimes there are show related items that still come up - whether it's sequel talk, or new projects of cast members.. But it is a LOT slower traffic.

Anyway, I just hope we don't close up shop right away. Or maybe we'll just move the chit-chat to another arena.

Well, right after JLU ended the entire forum was closed. Most of the threads were moved into the misc TV shows thread. The same thing happened with 'Blade the Series'.:csad:
