What DCU superhero(es) do you want to see before Smallville ends in 2009?

I'm not gonna lie. I've never been a fan of Darkseid.

I'd like to see Static (ie Static Shock from the cartoon) show up. Might even be cool to show that Oliver/Chloe/Watchtower have maybe some younger people that assist them as far as keeping their eyes and ears open on the street, and one of them could be Virgil Hawkins. Could be anything from a full episode guest star to a blink and you miss it, non-speaking role, random black kid with dreads, "Virgil" name-drop.

Which begs the question, whats up with Krypton? Why do all the men sound English and all the women sound American? Is Krypton like a melting pot of the two accents or something?

well i think an world would have multi languages/delicents and all that. Heck look at our world there is hundreds of languages.

Well yeah, but it seems weird to me that a group of men (Jor-El, Zor-El, Zod, Mon-El in the comics) from one area would have different accents then the women (Lara, Kara, probably Kara's mother) of the same area.

I guess its possible that the men came from a different area of the planet and settled down where the women are.... I dont know.

Which makes sense because he was raised in Kansas.

Though its strange that young Jor-El (from Relic) sounded American, yet the older Jor-Els sound English... perhaps he was disguising his voice to fit in.

well i think many were thinking that, but we know from the mayor and the newspaper article from 61 there was an image that looked like clark. But like what the SV writers said on twitter in kandor episode the portals used to place the orb and crystals on earth used time travel to place that at different points. So ya we can say in krypton time jorel of 20yrs old doesnt fit with 61 jorel cause earth time on krypton would have been 1965. But since we know there was time travel aspects in the portals used from krypton to earth. whos to say it wasnt a jorel of age 18-23 range and when he used the portal it was to 1961 earth and all that.

Since last season we got the Legion of Superheroes, and this one we are getting the Justice Society, any guesses if we get a 10th season whats the mid-season big episode is going to be about.

Only the Legion of Doom comes to mind, a team of Metallo, Toyman, Lex and Bizarro looks good to me, anyone else got any ideas???

Cyborg may not be a teen, but that doesn't neccessarily mean they all won't be. I posted this idea in another thread a little while back:

I think it would be sick if for the second half of season 9 there was an episode where Clark and Ollie got their butts in a jam and Speedy and Chloe are trying to contact League members for help, but Impulse, Aquaman, and Black Canary are all out on assignments. Finally, Cyborg answers and says he is on his way and bringing help.

Then we see the reason he hasn't been on the show as often as the others is because he has been working on locating and mentoring younger superpowered and skilled individuals...

...And Cyborg shows up to save Clark and Ollie with Speedy and the TEEN TITANS!!!

Obviously the episode would be called "Titans".

As far as the titans line up, Any of the Robins/Nightwing are off limits. Starfire may be a little to crazy FX-wise to do justice to.

Raven would work well. Possibly Beast Boy. I would throw Static in there cause I think he'd work well in a Smallville type setting. Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle would be good too.

Unfortunately alot of the titans are either FX heavy or their history is dependant on an older hero who has yet to be introduced on Smallville.

For kicks, we could have the titans just about to bust in and rescue Clark and Ollie, and at the last second, Impulse shows up and tells Cyborg that there was no way they were gonna throw this party without him.

Not trying to be a fan boy and "set things right" by having Bart and Vic join the titans instead of the league. I love them as league members! I just thought it'd be cool to show Cyborg working with teen heroes as a side project, almost like a superpowered after school Boys n Girls Club, and Bart showing up would just be a shout out to his titans roots in the comics.

Also, I think it'd be cool for them to figure out some way for Cyborg to have his arm cannon. Maybe not neccessarily have his arm turn into an actual gun, but if he could like visually charge/gather energy around his arm/fist and then aim and fire it, that might be cool.

I know. This is an idea for an episode that I could see happening later this season. I didn't say I was introducing them, just using them together for the first time, similar to how cyborg, Aquaman, and Impulse all showed up on Smallville seperately in the past, but were all together for the first time in the "Justice" episode in season 6.

Yes, we've already seen Speedy, Cyborg, and Impulse, but this would be the first time we see Speedy, Cyborg, and Impulse together as any sort of team, along with the new characters (the other titans).

Teen Titans would work, and not be able to use Robin won't be an issue.

Its funny, I know we call him Impulse, but I pretty much consider him Flash.

it would be interesting if they went into titans stuff, i wouldnt mind seeing booster gold myself and if they went with his early hero for fame take it could be a fun character to do. As for others i dont really know who else i would want to appear.
