Most films have a What you didn't like about ---- - Flaws/Critiques so since FF was so bad, I thought we'd make one of these...
So did you like anything about the film?
I for one thought the cast was good although they were seemingly stuck in sleep mode.

+ The friendship between Reed and Ben
+ Reed's nerdish attitude, his selfie and attempts at getting Sue's interest
+ Toby Kebbell's attitude towards the government and his frenemy relation with Johnny and Reed
+ Ben Grimm's potential story arc in Act 2.
+ Doom going all Cronenberg Scanners

Can we list things that the film is helping accomplish but isn't in the actual film?

The Thing's CGI. And I think that's it.

It's biggest strength is bumping up the possibility of FF going back to Marvel tenfold.

I think the possibility of that has never been stronger than right now. If Marvel doesn't get the rights back after this fiasco they never will.

I liked Jamie Bell as Ben, definitely wanted to see more of him.

That's about it.

The FF returning to Marvel.

Well that answers my question. I vote for its redeeming quality being that it ensures Marvel gets the F4 back.

I honestly can't think of one thing I liked about this movie. That really surprises me more than anything, as I've watched some pretty bad superhero films and there was usually one or two things I liked. I can't think of one damn thing about this film I liked.

There are pretty strong components in this film. But all of it is coated in a varnish of bullsht.

+ A handful of great actors. Just feels like they weren't even directed properly. No one ever heard of a reshoot?
+ CGI was cool in some places, complete garbage in others.
+ Family/emotional story was great, except for when it wasnt.

Did they really spend $122 million on this movie?

Reed and Ben's friendship
Jamie Bell was great as The Thing
Franklin Storm
Sue's powers
The first half the film
Doom's killing spree

That's all I got.

I umm...there was the scene where they first see their powers...that was decent...

+ the end titles
+ after this fiasco, FOX will need to speak with Marvel to save what they can, meaning the probable return of the FF

+ Strong actors. The main cast (by themselves, separate from the characters) are amazing. Particularly Teller and Jordan. BUT, they are awfully miscast, have no chemistry with each other, and are incompatible with their characters. The studio should have screen tested them TOGETHER.

+ Tried something different, even if it was an overwhelming failure.

+ The first 30 minutes is watchable (albeit sloppily edited).

I really liked the cast. I also liked the fact that they made Reed the centrepiece of this movie (unlike the previous versions where the torch had the edge over the others).

If fox wants to give up this movie, I hope the keep the cast.

+ The characters getting their powers from an alternate dimensions makes more sense than through cosmic rays

+ The idea of getting these powers being horrifying is cool.....if it wasn't for the goofy, family centric Fantastic Four

-The lighting of the F on Fox's logo
-I liked the cast, the only one from the four leads that I don't prefer over Tim Story's cast is MBJ
-I liked the scenes when they got their powers
-I liked the scenes with the young Reed/Ben
also..

This scene:
Reed: you're right, except I don't want to be famous, I just want my work to make a difference

Johnny: This going to Instagram

Reed: Do you have an accent
Sue: No I do not (Mara giving a fake accent)

Doom: He's giving a speech
Sue: Yes he's giving a speech

When the movie did horror elements like Reed waking up stretched out and Doom exploding heads that was the right tone of the movie.
The very short action sequence with Reed in the forest was well done.

-Dr. Franklin Storm. I thought he brought some heart and was the moral anchor to the movie.
-Doom. I thought this Doom was more horrific than what the Story films presented. He wasn't perfect but I thought he was a credible villain.
-The Four actors: I thought they all did well, granted Jamie Bell had very little to do but his scenes with Miles Teller were alright. And like someone else said, I liked the Reed-Ben friendship. I liked that Reed was sending selfies to Ben and that he hadn't turned his back on him.
-The Thing as a government agent. This is something they actually could've spent more time on or become the story itself. Also I liked the CGI Thing.

-The lighting of the F on Fox's logo
After this travesty of film making, I'm surprised they didn't sneak a 'U' in there as 'ox' faded out. Seeing as that is what essentially Fox has done with this franchise to FF fans.

The only strength about this film, like as have stated is increasing the probability of Marvel getting the rights back.
