Anyway, that is basically the Gospel. I could go on. I don't mind the mocking. But, I hope we can all be civilized here.

I don't mock - at least I don't intend to.

We all have our beliefs, and sometimes they differ. If beliefs can be expressed respectfully, then I don't mind the conversation. What you believe works for you. It doesn't for me, and I have my own set of beliefs.

I would continue the debate with you, but frankly, I am a bit worn out on religion at the moment. I have a friend at work who constantly tries to convert me. He is respectful about how he goes about it, but at times it can be rather trying. My brother also tries to subtley convert me. So frankly, I am a bit beat on the topic of religion.

I will just state that I am not created "to worship". If God is really so self centered that all he cares about is people worshipping him, then that's not the God that I want to follow.

I have my own ideas of how God is - the kind of God that I want to follow. And if that's not what God really is, then I'll take my chances on an eternity in Hell. Because God, as he is described to me by religion, does not sound like the kind of God that I want to devote an eternity to.

I think we are reincarnated on other planets in the universe. I don't think this is the end, but I don't believe in a supreme being that rules over us and judges us after death. I think we are spectators in a universe that will forever grow. I think we will see some of it, but we will never know everything. I think we're here to do whatever we want, and I choose to learn what I can while experiencing the things I love.

I'm having a crisis of faith at the moment. So I'm kinda at a strange crossroads. All I know is that I'll eventually die.

Dying isn't scary to me but what happens afterward and not knowing what will happen is very unsettling. Because of that I end up having thought about it everyday.

For life to mean anything, death is essential.

I don't subscribe to any religious beliefs on the afterlife. I find much fault in the major monotheistic religions, and I don't think a collective consciousness exists either, cause people are so vastly different. If we all are extensions of some collective brain, why are people so different? Makes no sense to me.

I do believe in life after death, however. This is due to my belief in ghosts. I lived in a house for 15 years where WEIRD things were done and seen. I am also a firm believer that things happen for a reason. When you cram odds on certain things happening, random coincidence doesn't make sense to me either. With all this not making sense to me, what would make sense to me? Nothing right now. Which is why I'm agnostic.
