What do you think the merchandising will be like with Watchmen?

I'm sure Hot Topic will make tons of shirts so 13 year old kids can wear them and act like they know what Watchmen is.

Yea its so annoying watching emo punks walking around in shirts with the Green Lantern symbol. In brightest day, in blackest night by ass.
QFT, as upsetting as it is. But that's something we can expect with Watchmen being mainstream now. :csad:

We can probably expect the merchandising we got for 300.

"Yea Watchmen's like this band and they have an awesome symbol of a smiley face with a head wound. They play really unique and deep music."

Can't wait to hear that all freaking year at school. It's so totally clobberin time.

I hope i can get a big pin with the blood wound smilie face.

Or anything with Rors on it.

Rorschach mask, por favor.

If the inkblot part moves, I'd absolutely s*** myself.

I would like a Rorschach figure with an action feature similar to the EVE deluxe figure from Wall-E, that everytime you push the head, her eye expression changes. (check it here: http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_051908a.htm

Doing that but with Rorschach's inkblots... :wow:

that would be sick. i think it would be really cool if there was a dr. manhattan figure where that blue rotoscope type ray around him would light him up in the dark.

GLOW IN THE DARK Dr. Manhattan plushie! : D

I think they'll definetley release a Rors costume, like they did with Hellboy.

Does anyone have a link where I can see the DC Direct Watchmen figures?

Great. Had a hellacious time trying to find TDK merchandise in this podunk little town I live in. I doubt there'll be any Watchmen stuff released locally. Be keeping an eye on internet stores.

since the movie is r rated it prob wont get alot of kiddy thinks as far as merchandise.
I'd want a few shirts and buttons though

some lapel pins of the watchmen would be nice

I think a "Stick with Dick in '84" campaign buttons would rule.

Will it be similar to The Dark Knight, with the toys and the t-shirts and the costumes,

maybe t-shirts of the individual characters not just the bleeding smiley[nobritsh slang intended the smiley IS bleeding tho just a bloodstain on the comedians pin logo

Yay Merch

Based on the artwork of Dave Gibbons, these Watchmen thermal mugs are a fun way for any fan of the film to hold their favorite beverage!
The characters go from black and white to color when hot liquid is added. Also the classic phrase “Who Watches the Watchmen” appears scrawled on the mug with warm liquid.

This 2009-2010 collectible Watchmen twenty month hardcover calendar features Dave Gibbons’ artwork of the characters from the upcoming film

Exclusive to comic shops, this hardcover journal replicates the look of “Under the Hood,” the autobiography of the first Nite Owl, Hollis Mason, from the upcoming film Watchmen

the interior pages features stylized watermarked artwork of Archimedes, the second Nite Owl's transport, in flight.

Featuring characters such as Dr. Manhattan, Ozymandias, The Comedian, and Rorschach, this decorative bookmark set features artwork by Watchmen illustrator and co-creator Dave Gibbons.

I have no idea why The Comedan looks like Raul Julia as Gomez Addams, but these are very cool nonetheless.

I just can't wait for the action figures to come out...Rorschach and Doc Manhattan will be the first two I snag.
