Superman Returns What Happened to all of these Great Scenes/Ideas?

Singer has been quoted on numerous occasions that he would not do a Director's Cut of the film, and that he edited Returns, therefore it was the Director's Cut.

That being said, I believe that WB can release an extended edition at some point in the future.

i dont remember everything so i am not 100%. but i really think that in one of the last interviews he said that he never does a directors cut. and i got the feeling that he wanted to said that there could still coem something on the dvd.
cna someone find this interview? the background was white :woot:

And it would be even better if Superman brought the core of Brainiac back with him from Krypton without realizing.

Its a great way to use the Return to Krypton sequence in the sequel.

YES! SOMEONE ELSE REALIZES IT ALSO!

By not releasing a director's cut, Singer can use the Return to Krypton sequence in SRII (as flashbacks, as needed throughout the movie). If he goes with the Brainiac-on-NK bit as suggested in this forum, the Return sequences would splice well to explain Brainiac's backstory.

That would leave what, a few battles between Brainiac and Supes and some Supes-Clark-Lois dialogue, and some attention to the Lois-Richard-Supes triangle?

SRIII could then resolve the triangle...
