The Dark Knight What I hope for from TDK mobsters:

I have a couple of hopes/requests that I would like to see from the mobsters in the "Batman Begins" sequels:

1. I hope that Falcone is given the serum from the first movie and regains his sanity. The reason that I would like to see this is because I want Harvey Dent to have the same grudge against Falcone that he had in "The Long Halloween" and I would like to see Two-Face eventually kill Falcone in the third movie.

2. I hope that Salvatore Maroni is the one to scar Dent just like in the comics. I heard that they were planning on having the Joker do it, which wouldn't bother me to much, however, I think that if Maroni is in the movie anyway, he might as well do it himself.

What do you guys think?

All I know is if Falcone comes back I want him either still in Arkham or him or Maroni are responsible for the creation of The Joker.

I know for sure I don't want Black Mask. I just want to see a gangland war between the Thornes and Maronis, with The Penguin supplying the both of them weapons but also trying to run a club of sophistication and refinery.

I could see though Dent coming to Falcone's cell to get information only to shoot him afterwards in this one or "3."

I basically just want there to be a mob war/power struggle for who's the head of Gotham's organized crime. I'd like Falcone to return, but I don't really care who the other mob guys are (whether it's Thorne or Maroni or whoever).

I also want their mob war to be constantly screwed up by Joker who only really wants to take control of the Narrows (it's filled with insane people now, he should be their king) and of course Batman. You could end up getting an interesting scene with a 3 way fight between mob vs. Joker vs. Batman. Hell, throw th GCPD in there while your at it and have absolute mayhem.

Nah. It's way too cold, even for Two-face. I mean, after BB, Falcone's a blithering idoit, his mind is gone. Hell, someone probabley has to change his pants regularley. I can't see Two-face excuting someone so mentally incompitent.

Also, I doubt you'll get anything from Falcone, just as I believe you won't get anything from Crane if they capture him. They both got strong concintrated doses of fear gas. Their in wacky land.

I suppose you're right but Two-Face did kill Falcone in coldblood. Personally, IMO I would rather have Two-Face going after Maroni like he went after Thorne in "BTAS."

Actor Tom Wilkinson who played Falcone in BB said that he doesn't expect a returm to Gotham since his character "went nuts" along those lines. Worth a look at BOF archives.

Actually, that'd go well along with the forecasts he did in his first few stories.

I think there will be some type of organized crime scene going on in TDK. Maroni FTW if there is. I dont think the Joker's going to be all "insane" but rather cleaver and will probably be connected to organized crime in some form.
