Anyway...Um, as I was going to say. Yeah, Spidey never killed anyone. What you cited was spidey thinking he was fighting wolverine and punched some chick's head off.
That was an out of context death to the series. Because his spider sense should have either told him it wasn't wolverine or went off because he was about to do something he'd regret. He has fast enough reflexes to have stopped his own fist.
The clone in the smoke tower was already dead. Besides clones aren't really people....They're just creepy dopplegangers. So it doesn't matter. I'd beat the crap out of my clone. And then shoot who ever cloned me.
He's never intentially crossed that line. And the few obscure times someone may have been inadvertedly killed by him don't change that.
