What is Captain America's limitations compared to the rest of the characters in MCU?

Hes their leader. He needs to be able to keep up with a God, a man wearing a tank, and anger personified.

even with his superhuman strength he's outdone by all of those people. moreover, he was their leader in the 616 comics without the superpower.

I understand, it's a choice that I can understand not being everyone's cup of tea. But it works for me.

yeah, it works for most people. it's clear that i have an unpopular opinion here. i don't hate the mcu because of it, I think there are bigger issues there, but it's just one thing that I think shouldn't have been implemented in this way.

i don't why everyone else is getting worked up about it.

It depends on which version of Cap to which you're comparing the MCU Cap. The original Timely Comics Cap was the ultimate human specimen. The version that was thawed to become a part of the larger Marvel universe in Avengers #4 has become steadily more superhuman over time, even if that is never specifically stated.

i mentioned 616 in the OP and several times in the thread, I think. most of the mcu is probably based on that but i'm aware that elements are also taken from other continuities and that some are completely original
