Joe is a mediocre actor with mediocre presence. Hammer is a slightly less mediocre actor with a slightly less mediocre presence. The resistance to Hammer aint hate. It's just that I'd say he hasn't particularly blown up anybody's skirts as of yet in his work to date. Given the nature of Capt. Marvel/Shazam as a character, with Dwayne as Adam you better have an actor that has a strong charisma or can act the crap out of the part for the audience to get behind. Despite still getting the push from the Hollywood hype machine, Hammer hasn't shown either of those attributes.

Fillion is good...but he is kinda bloated now. Looks like he eats a bit too much...drinks a bit and is not active enough.

He needs to watch it. Or in 3 years it can get out of hand for him.

Huh? I saw him in movies with decent performances which made me think of Armie as being superhero potential.

I think Armie did a commendable job in J Edgar as well as Social Network. It will be interesting to see how he does in UNCLE and how his chemistry is with Cavill.
