Henry was an aberration that had been in the running for the role for years (was set to play supes back in 2004, before mcg left and singer recast cav with routh, kinda like hammer was set to play bats before justice league was scrapped) so those fans that wanted him can't consider that a fan influenced choice.

his choices after the network and j.edgar hoover haven't been the smartest, but he's at least as good an actor as most the actors chosen so far for these dc roles. if he never gets a cbm role with wb, it surely won't be because of lack of talent.

That is such a concrete statement right there, you can really feel his resolve to NEVER be in a CBM, that or it's probably not something to read into and doesn't really say much other than that at the present moment he wasn't particularly interested. Things can change, I seem to remember a Ben Affleck who was very adamant about never playing a superhero again.

WB/DC in particular is know to react to fan-feedback, especially if it's strong as can be. It's why the JL movie Hammer was cast in was cancelled, it's why the WW pilot never saw life on tv, it's what helped put their minds at ease when casting Bale as Batman, and Cavill as Superman; even Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam.

With that said, that is not us fans choosing anything, that is the studio actually listening to feedback for once, which in itself is some sort of power. And it's because while we are not the only ones seeing these movies, we are a big part of their profits for the movies, and we can be a big detriment to their box office as well.

he doesn't have to be a fan. nolan talked to heath about possibly playing bruce wayne and heath said no thanks. next thing you know, he's playing the joker. and armie isn't anywhere the actor that heath was. you're crazy if you think he'd turn down shazam if wb came calling.

IF WB has made a decision regarding the casting of Shazam,
There is nothing we can do about it .
I stand by that.
if there is a casting change after the announcement is made,
It will probably be over contractual or scheduling issues .

I don't think the WW show failing had anything to do with fans. I think it had more to do with the fact that a human being saw the pilot.
