The scene of the village was full of homages to Robocop![]()
I like the first non-repulser flight test, it still makes me laugh whenever I think about it.
I laughed so hard at the physical-comedy gags. I loved it when he starts out at 10% power, and then after the crash, goes back with the sentiment, "OK, here we go...one percent." The way Robert said that line is what made it so funny.Infinity9999x said:That part was hilarious. I loved how they built it up, and then BAM right into the wall. The fire extinguisher robot really made me crack up though. That was a nice touch.

Wanna know my least favorite? Terrence Howard's line "Next time." Why? Because he did an intereview for G4 where he said that WarMachine was more anticipated than IronMan was. Talk about egotism.
But yeah...there are a million great moments - they just dont let up.
When Obadiah metaphorically breaks Tony's heart. Such an intense scene.
...I saw that interview and I think the humor of it went right over your head.
Couldn't hurt it's more IronMan for everyone
I'll try to find it but I really just think it was a part of his sense of humor. He just came off so straight faced and sarcastic to me (for lack of a better term). Like "Clearly War Machine is the most anticipated character in the series. I don't know how anybody can deny that." tongue in cheek kinda deal.
EDIT: Alright so not that sarcastic.

But I don't know. I didn't get much of an arrogant vibe from it. It was just kind of casual and believable...CAN you think of a more anticipated character in the series?

I also enjoyed the fact he was constantly talking to his computers and lab machines. "The next time you spray me and I'm not on fire, I'm disassembling you. Got it?"
Then of course, the flight stablizer test: "OK, just a stabilizer, no problem." Then he winds up backwards, right off screen. So many jokes in this film, I laughed like crazy. I'll definitely be seeing it again before it leaves theaters.
t:i didnt find it arrogant. He's just an actor trying to set up his own gig. I'd be doing the same thing.
